Fortnite v24.10 Easter Update Today 3.86 Patch Notes & Server Downtime – 29th March

A new Fortnite update has been announced for March 29th, 2023. Here are the early patch notes for the v24.10 (3.86) release.

Last week, Epic Games released a small update. It didn’t have any new files for data miners to leak, nor did it include any new features or items.

However, we were expecting the first major Fortnite update of chapter 4 season 2 to release this week. Epic has confirmed the v24.10 update will be released today.

We know that this will include an Easter event which Epic Games have already hinted at along with some other additions.

Fortnite Easter Update

Thanks to data miners, we have a good idea as to what we can expect in the v24.10 (3.86) release. Below, you’ll find early patch notes along with information on server downtime.

Is Fortnite Down? Server Scheduled Downtime March 29th, 2023

Every major patch release is accompanied by server downtime, and the v24.10 update is no different. Epic has confirmed the time the Fortnite servers will be down.

The servers will officially go offline at 4 AM ET / 9 AM BST / 10 AM CEST.

Matchmaking will be disabled shortly before the servers go down, likely thirty minutes prior. Here’s the tweet announcing the downtime:

Fortnite v24.10 Server Downtime March 29

As always, Epic didn’t release any information regarding how long the servers will be down for. However, we’d expect them to be down for roughly two hours.

That means the servers should be back online at roughly 6 AM ET / 11 AM BST / 12 PM CEST. We’ll update this article when they’re back online.

Fortnite Easter Update 3.86 (v24.10) Patch Notes – March 29th

As always, data miners have provided some insight into what we can expect in today’s 3.86 (v24.10) patch release.

We know today’s release is the Fortnite Easter update. In the tweet announcing server downtime, Epic hinted at the spring update, twice mentioning eggs.

Easter Event

We don’t know exactly what the Easter Fortnite update will entail in terms of possible challenges, however, it’s safe to assume we should see some new Easter skins added to the game.

We should see other cosmetics added to the game with the v24.10 release including the April Crew Pack. We know that the Triarch Nox skin will be part of the pack.

We should expect some new Reality Augments today along with the possibility of the Smart Pistol weapon being added to the game, an item that was teased previously.

Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass Super Styles will also be available along with the chance of there being new collaborations being added to the files.

We’ll be covering all of the leaks and news from the v24.10 Fortnite update, so be sure to head to this page during downtime to check all of our coverage.

OG Fortnite Map Creative 2.0 Code – How to Play Atlas Map

Players have been waiting to feel nostalgic for playing on the OG Fortnite map. Here’s the map code and how to play Atlas Creative’s OG Fortnite map in creative 2.0.

It’s five and a half years since the launch of Fortnite Battle Royale. Since then, we’ve had a total of four different maps. The first new map was released in Chapter 2.

The chapter 3 map wasn’t too well received but for the most part, the chapter 4 map that Epic Games released in December has gone down well with the player base.

However, since chapter 3, players have been asking for the return OG Fortnite map. However, that never materialized with Epic focusing on creating something new for each chapter.

Fortnite OG Map Atlas

However, with the official release of Unreal Engine for Fortnite yesterday, playing the OG Fortnite map in creative 2.0 is definitely a possibility now.

Epic provided numerous creative teams with early access. Two of these creative teams have created the OG Fortnite map with Atlas Creative already publishing their version of the game.

Here’s everything you need to know about Atlas Creatives’ new map including the code to access the new creative 2.0 island.

Atlas Creative 2.0 OG Fortnite Map

Earlier today, Atlas Creative released their OG Fortnite map in creative 2.0. For now, it’s in BETA and players can expect a few bugs. However, the Atlas team has ensured that any bugs will be ironed out as quickly as possible.

Due to island memory limits, some of the map details had to be cut out, but once Epic addresses this, they’ll be able to release the full detailed version.

At the moment, the player count is fixed at 50 players. Once Atlas knows the map is under control and working as intended, the player count will be upped.

In order to compensate for the lower player count, Atlas has increased the storm up. The map will likely disable sprinting, slide, etc with a poll on their Twitter account being 76% in favor of the change.

Other things to note about the Fortnite OG Map created by Atlas are some POIs such as the jail have been cut along with foliage and grass.

Pumps will be added in version 1.1 along with some other changes and improvements. Here’s the full thread:

Fortnite OG Battle Royale Map Creative 2.0 Code

In order to play the OG Fortnite map in creative 2.0, players can input the island code below:

How to Play

If you’re new to playing Fortnite Creative maps, players will need to change the game mode they’re playing in the lobby. You can then find creative islands to play on the Discover page.

You can also input the island code in order to head directly to the OG Fortnite map.

Fortnite 24.01 Update Today 3.85 Patch Notes – Server Downtime – March 20th 2023

Epic Games has announced a brand new Fortnite update, v24.01 (3.85). Here’s everything we know about the latest release.

It’s been ten days since the launch of Fortnite chapter 4 season 2, the new season introduced several new locations on the southeast side of the map along with new vehicles, weapons, and the Kinetic Blade.

We weren’t expecting a new patch release this week with data miners stating that the next major release wasn’t scheduled until the week commencing March 27th.

However, Epic Games has announced a new update, v24.01, released today, March 20th, 2023. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest release.

Are the Fortnite Servers Down Right Now? March 20th, 2023 Scheduled Downtime

When Epic Games release a new patch release for Fortnite, the servers go down for a couple of hours. That’s no different with the release of the v24.01 (3.85) update.

Epic Games have stated that the servers will go down for scheduled maintenance at 4 AM ET / 8 AM UTC. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes prior to the downtime.

Fortnite 3.85 Server Downtime March 20 2023

The servers will likely be back online at roughly 6 AM ET / 10 AM UTC. We’ll update this article when the servers are back online.

Fortnite Update 3.85 (v24.01) Patch Notes – March 20th 2023

As you can tell by the update number, v24.01, today’s update won’t include any major additions that we’re used to seeing in other major releases.

It’s likely this update might include some Creative 2.0 (UEFN) files along with some bug fixes and performance improvements. Players have been complaining about jittering and other performance issues since the first day of the season. Hopefully, these issues will be resolved in the 3.85 update.

It’s unlikely there will be any new cosmetics that’ll be added to the files. Previous v.01 updates haven’t included any new cosmetics but if there are, we’ll be sure to cover any leaks during downtime.

Three months ago, Epic Games surprised the Fortnite player base by releasing a new chapter, chapter four season two.

The release of a new Fortnite chapter always brings a new map. Whilst the majority of players will agree that this is one of the best maps we’ve had, we haven’t didn’t see a lot of changes throughout the duration of season one.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 launches today. Here are the early patch notes for the v24.00 update (3.84) along with information on the server downtime and when the servers will be back up, and the download file size.

Chapter 4 Season 1 has finally come to an end after just over three months. The season brought a number of solid additions both feature and item-wise.

The Shockwave Hammer is probably one of the best items we’ve seen added to the game in some time. Hopefully, it’ll remain in the loot pool in season two.

The reality augment perks have also been another fantastic addition. These will likely remain in the game in the new season with some new perks and tweaks to some of the existing augment realities.

When a season is coming to an end, players tend to get bored with the current season, and this season was no different.

Thankfully, Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 (v24.00) is only a few hours away with the cinematic trailer scheduled to premiere at 10 AM ET.

Since the launch of Fortnite Battle Royale, we’ve covered every single major update, and the v24.00 (3.84) update is no different.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite MEGA season including early patch notes, server downtime information, the download file size for the 24.00 release, and more.

Are the Fortnite Servers Down Right Now? Schedule Downtime March 10th, 2023

Fortnite players know by now that the Fortnite servers go down for scheduled maintenance in order for Epic Games to prepare them for the new version of the game.

Every new Fortnite patch update is announced on the official Fortnite Status Twitter account a few hours before server downtime begins.

However, with the release of the 3.84 (v24.00) update, Epic announced when the servers would go down earlier than usual.

The servers will go down for scheduled maintenance at 2 AM ET with matchmaking being disabled shortly before, likely thirty minutes prior. Here’s the tweet:

When Will the Fortnite Servers Be Back Online?

Epic Games never states when the servers will be back online after downtime. However, a leak from NotPaloleaks suggests that Epic estimates that today’s downtime will be roughly five hours.

If correct, that means the servers should be back online at roughly 7 AM ET / 12 PM GMT. We’ll update this as soon as they’re back online.

Fortnite Update 3.84 (24.00) Patch Notes Today – Chapter 4 Season 2 – March 10th, 2023

As expected, a number of leaks have been released for Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 “MEGA”. The Battle Pass skins have already been leaked including the Attack On Titan collaboration outfit.

We also know that the collaboration will include an Attack On Titan Fortnite mythic item. The item will be a waist grappler that’ll work somewhat similarly to Spider Man’s web shooters.

Waist Grappler Fortnite Attack On Titan Mythic Item

We already know we’re getting a Neo-Tokyo type POI which has been confirmed from both the teaser image and the teaser video that Epic Games have released.

Fortnite Mega Neo Tokyo Location

Around this POI, players will find grind rails that can be used to quickly move around the new location. You can slide on them whilst holding your weapon, similar to the tubes that were found around Neo Tilted in chapter 1 season 9.

Along with the above, futuristic bikes will be added to the game which has been teased in one of the promotional images for chapter 4 season 2 MEGA.

We know from one of the updates this season that Epic Games have been updating their first-person mode. Leaks from a few weeks ago confirmed that the game mode is finally ready and will be available with the launch of season 2.

Fortnite First Person Mode

There will be a katana/sword item that’ll be added as well as a new pistol and shotgun. According to leaker Hypex, the pump shotgun will be making a return with a new version.

Based on one of the teaser images, it also appears as though Epic Games are teasing the unvaulting of the tac shotgun too.

Finally, we know there will be getting legendary augments that include the ability to get rebooted when you’re eliminated, an augment to increase your maximum shield, and one that’ll give a player siphon.

We’ll update this when the official patch notes are released.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 All Battle Pass Skins – Attack On Titan Eren Yeager

Here’s a look at all of the Fortnite season 2 chapter 4 MEGA Battle Pass skins from leaks and the teaser trailer.

We’re finally at the end of Fortnite chapter 4 season 1. Although we’ve seen some good additions this season, the last few weeks of any season tend to drag on.

Epic begins to build up to a new season by posting teaser images and videos. However, much of Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 has been leaked days ahead of the launch date.

The two most popular data miners, Hypex and ShiinaBR, got insider information regarding what the new season has in store for players.

The Fortnite MEGA Battle Pass skins were leaked along with the theme of the season, the Attack of Titan collaboration, a first-person mode, and more.

Players are usually very critical of the Fortnite Battle Pass skins. However, it appears as though the majority of the player base is happy with what they’ve seen of the chapter 4 season 2 Battle Pass skins.

Epic has shown almost all of the season 2 Battle Pass skins in teaser images. However, data miners have also provided a better look at the skins, which we’ve included below.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 MEGA Battle Pass Skins

On March 3rd, the first leaks regarding the Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 MEGA Battle Pass skins were leaked by popular data miner Hypex.

Although it was more of a draft drawing, it gave players a good idea in regards to what the skins for the new season would look like.

Leaked Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass Skins

On March 7th, the first season two teaser image was posted by Epic Games. It featured the lizard skin that was leaked.

Is There a Live Event For Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Today? What Time Is It? March 9th 2023

Players are wondering if there’s a live event today in the lead-up to Fortnite chapter 4 season 2. Here’s the information we have.

It’s been just over three months since Epic Games launched a new chapter. For the most part, chapter 4 season 1 has been a huge success with the player base.

Not only did we get a brand new map, but there were also several noteworthy features and items that were added to the game.

The Shockwave Hammer and the addition of Augment Realities have been the highlights for the majority of the player base.

Hopefully, they’ll both be available in Fortnite chapter 4 Season 2. Speaking of the new season, players are wondering whether there will be a live event to conclude the season. Here’s what we know.

When is the Fortnite Live Event 2023? Chapter 4 Season 2

Data miners always leak if there will be a Fortnite live event. Typically, a few hours before a live event is scheduled to begin, the files are decrypted and then leaked on Twitter.

Fortnite 2023 Live Event Time

Event files are almost always added in the final update of the season. There aren’t any event files added in the 23.50 files.

If there is an event, Epic Games will always announce when it’ll take place a few days beforehand. However, that hasn’t happened.

Is there a live event Fortnite chapter 4 season 1

That means, unfortunately, that there will be no 2023 Fortnite live event to conclude season 1 and lead into Fortnite chapter 4 season 2.

However, it’s looking like season 2 will have a lot of new content and features which we’ll be covering during downtime, so be sure to check back here to see all of our coverage on the new season.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Start Date, Season 1 End Date Confirmed

Epic Games have clarified the confusion around the Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 start date and the end date for season 1.

It’s been three months since Epic Games released Fortnite chapter 4 season 1. Thankfully, we’ve seen some solid additions this season.

Alongside a brand new map for Battle Royale, Epic Games updated Fortnite’s game engine to Unreal Engine 5.1 which included better graphics, changes to current settings, and more.

We also saw the release of one of the best items that have ever been added to Fortnite Battle Royale, the Shockwave Hammer.

The introduction of Reality Augments has also been a welcomed addition, although some would argue some of the Reality Augments are overpowered.

However, the general consensus regarding the Reality Augments is that they should remain in the game in chapter 4 season 2.

Although we’ve had some good additions with the release of chapter 4, players have been looking forward to season 2 for a few weeks now.

Players have been looking for the release date for Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 along with the end date for chapter 4 season 1.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 End Date

However, there has been conflicting information in regard to the start date for season 2. However, Epic Games have now provided clarity on the situation.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 End Date

We’ve known for a few weeks that Epic Games brought the end date for Fortnite chapter 4 season 1 forwards. On February 15th, the Fortnite Status Twitter account tweeted information regarding the new end date.

They announced season 1 would end a few days earlier than previously announced, now ending on March 8th, 2023.

When does the current season of Fortnite end

Although players have been confused with the start date of the new season, we know for certain when season 1 will be ending.

New Season of Fortnite Start/Release Date – Chapter 4 Season 2

Due to the fact that Epic Games stated that season 1 ends on March 8th, players assumed that the new season of Fortnite would release on the same date.

However, after much confusion today, Epic Games have confirmed that Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 will start on Friday, March 10th, 2023.

Here’s the tweet on the Fortnite Status Twitter account confirming the start date of the new season:

Epic Games have announced the final major Fortnite update of chapter 4 season 1. v23.50. Here are the early patch notes for the 3.83 release.

It’s almost been three months since Epic Games released Fortnite chapter 4 season 1. The current season is expected to end on March 8th, 2023, but we’re getting one last update before then.

We’ve had four major Fortnite updates since the release of the new chapter. However, the biggest addition has been the Shockwave Hammer, an item that was added at the start of the season.

The last major Fortnite update, v23.40, was the best of the season thanks to the introduction of the Most Wanted event.

Not only does the event provide players with the chance to earn themselves free cosmetics by completing the quests, but a number of exotic weapons were also added to the loot pool.

Six vaulted weapons also made a return for the event including the Heavy Sniper, Dual Pistols, Boom Sniper Rifle, and Hop Rock Dualies.

Epic has announced that the final update of the season, v23.50 (3.83), will be released today, Tuesday, 28th February 2023.
