The Fortnite OG Pump Shotgun is Returning (and Maybe the Double Pump Too)

Fortnite leakers have confirmed that the OG Pump Shotgun is returning when Fortnite: OG launches in two days.

We’re just two days away from the launch of a new Fortnite season; Chapter 4 Season 5. Epic has already confirmed we’ll be going back to Chapter 1.

We’ve seen five teasers for the new season release, all of which have confirmed the return of items including the baller, certain items, and a glimpse at some of the Battle Pass skins.

One of the latest teasers confirms the return of a popular weapon model; the OG pump shotgun.

Over the past couple of chapters, we’ve seen Epic release a variety of different shotguns, some of which have been pump shotguns. However, players have been waiting for the return of the OG Pump Shotgun.

Here’s a look at the stats of the popular Fortnite item along with the teaser that confirms the return of the item next season.

OG Pump Shotgun is Returning to Fortnite in “OG” Chapter 4 Season 5

Epic released a new teaser for Fortnite OG late last night which included part of the OG Shotgun along with the OG model of the popular SCAR.

The weapon was first introduced in the v1.6 update in both common and uncommon varieties. It’s had multiple buffs and nerfs including changes to the damage fall off.

Here’s a look at the stats for the common, uncommon, and rare versions of the OG Fortnite pump shotgun prior to it being removed.

Is Double Pump Shotgun Coming Back to Fortnite?

With the return of the OG Pump Shotgun, there’s a chance we could see the Double Pump Shotgun meta return to the game, although this has not been confirmed.

Double pumping was a popular strategy in Fortnite Battle Royale, where players would pick up two pump shotguns and immediately switch between each one when one of them was fired.

This would bypass the slow rate of fire the item was intended to have, and become infamous among the player base, but was patched in season 3, and once again in season 5.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 OG Battle Pass Skins – New Black Knight, Raven, Ragnarok, Omega

Epic Games has been releasing teasers for Fortnite “OG” Chapter 4 Season 5, and we have a glimpse of the skins including a new version of the Black Knight skin.

We’re just three days away from the release of a new season; Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5. We already know that the season will be called “Fortnite OG” with the Chapter 1 Season 5 map returning.

Epic confirmed we would be returning to the Chapter 1 map four days ago with a tweet that has amassed offer 200,000 likes and 33 million views.

Fortnite OG Season

Players have been waiting for Epic to release teasers for Fortnite “OG” Chapter 4 Season 5 and today, we saw our first batch of teaser images that have provided a glimpse of the skins we can expect to see in the Fortnite “OG” Chapter 4 Season 5.

Here’s a look at all the information and teasers we have on the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 Battle Pass.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 “OG Chapter 1” Battle Pass Skins Leaks

We’ve had a total of five teaser images posted today for the return of the Fortnite Chapter 1 map and loot pool, some of which include parts of the Battle Pass skins for the new season.

In the teaser below, we can see a Peely skin along with Raven and the top of a Ragnarok head.

The Black Knight skin (included below) is a Legendary skin that was available in the season two Battle pass at tier 40. It’s one of the rarest skins in the game with many players asking Epic to add it to the item store.

Black Knight Fortnite

With Epic remixing and merging Chapter 1 skins together, it made sense for them to bring back a remix version of Black Knight in the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 Battle Pass.

The teaser images we’ve seen so far suggest Black Knight will be mixed with the Ice King and Sentinel chapter 1 skins. Here’s a look at the three teaser images that feature the Black Knight Fortnite skin.

We should plenty more Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 “OG” teasers released over the next couple of days in the lead-up to the new season providing us with more insight into what we can expect in the return to Chapter 1.

There’s still plenty to cover from the teasers, and we’ll have a breakdown of some of the Loot Pool items returning in the new season.

Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 OG Old Map Return Date – Rewind Teaser Image

It looks like we’ll be going to the “Old OG” Fortnite map with the return of the Chapter 1 Season 5 map in Chapter 4 Season 5.

We’re just over a week away from a new season of Fortnite Battle Royale; chapter 4 season 5. There have been rumors regarding the new season of Fortnite for some time now.

Originally, popular Fortnite leakers who were getting information from an Epic Games insider stated that chapter 4 season 5 would be a month long, and would be a Lego-themed season.

However, a few weeks ago, this was confirmed to be axed. That said, the rumor of the new season only being a month-long season still remained.

Recently, leakers stated that we could be going back to the old OG Fortnite map, more specifically, Chapter 1 Season 5, which would again only be for a month before the launch of Chapter 5 at the start of December.

On October 10th, popular leaker Hypex tweeted some information regarding the old OG Fortnite map returning. Here’s everything we know about the leaks.

Old OG Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 Map Return Leaks

Hypex stated that due to the time machine on the current map breaking, we’ll cycle through the chapter 1 seasons including season 5 with the return of the old OG Fortnite map.

Alongside constant map changes, we’ll be getting loot pool changes with all the OG items making a return. Although the information was from a reliable source, many were still skeptical.

However, we’ve seen teasers being added by Epic Games over the past week. Some creators received a disc with the outline of the Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 map as seen below.

When is the Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 Old OG Map Returning

Fortnite then changed their Twitter location to “July 12th, 2018”. At the same time, propers from Frenzy Fields began appearing on the current map.

Epic then sent certain content creators the Fortnite chapter 1 OST lobby music, another hint that the leaks are correct.

Yesterday, Epic added the Fortnite Chapter 1 sky as a billboard in-game to further confirm that next season, we’ll be going back to the OG Fortnite Chapter 1 map.

With the current season of Fortnite expected to end on November 3rd, we’d expect Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 to launch with the Chapter 1 Season 5 map on either November 3rd or November 4th 2023.

However, we’ll likely have full confirmation either tomorrow or on Monday, 30th October.

Epic released a new Fortnite update on September 12th, 2023. The new patch includes new My Hero Academia Skins, quests, and mythic items.

The first major update of the season has landed with today’s new release. Last night, Epic announced that the v26.10 update would be going live today, 12th September.

After last week’s hotfix update which included two new items and three new augment reality perks, players were expecting a lot from today’s 26.10 update.

We knew we would be getting a collaboration today but nobody was expecting a Fortnite x My Hero Academia wave 2.

Here’s everything you need to know about the latest collaboration including a look at the new skins, quests, and mythic items.

My Hero Academia Wave 2 Fortnite Skins

Last year in December, Epic released the first My Hero Academia collaboration which included the Izuku Midoriya, All Might, Katsuki Bakugo, and Ochaco Uraraka skins.

In wave 2, the Shoto Todoroki, Eijiro Kirishima, and Mina Ashido Fortnite skins are available. Here’s a look at the new skins.

The first MHA x Fortnite Collaboration introduced Deku’s Smash mythic item. It has returned with the second collaboration. Here’s the description of the item as well as the stats.

“Throw a punch that sends shockwaves through the world, blasting through buildings and enemies alike”.

Todoroki’s Ice Wall is the new mythic item that produces nearly impenetrable walls of ice to defend both yourself and your sidekicks. You can also spawn them further away.

New Fortnite v26.10 (4.01) Update Today – Server Downtime and Patch Notes 12th September 2023

Epic Games has announced that the new Fortnite update, v26.10 (4.01) will be released today on 12th September 2023. Here are the early patch notes and server downtime details.

It’s almost been three weeks since Epic Games released Fortnite chapter 4 season 4. The new season included a number of major map changes and a shuffle in the loot pool with both new and old items being added or unvaulted.

Last week, we had a hotfix update that introduced two new items and three augment reality perks. Both the items and augment reality perks were leaked from the new season release.

The Stick Grenade Launcher and the Shield Breaker EMP were added to the game along with the Explosive Surplus, Storm Chaser, and High Voltage Perks.

Data miners announced before the new season that Epic were already working on the v26.10 (4.01) update, and it was expected to go live two and half weeks after the new season launched.

Epic Games has confirmed that the v26.10 Fortnite update will be released today, and we have the early patch notes and server downtime information below.

Fortnite Server Downtime For 4.01 Update – September 12th, 2023 (09/12/23)

In order to release a major patch release for Fortnite Battle Royale, Epic Games needs to take the servers down in order to prepare for the new files.

Today’s v26.10 Fortnite update is no different. As expected, Epic announced that the Fortnite servers will be brought offline for the new patch release.

The Fortnite servers will go down for scheduled downtime at 4 AM ET / 9 AM BST / 10 AM CEST on 12th September 2023. Matchmaking will be disabled shortly beforehand.

Although Epic didn’t announce exactly when matchmaking will be disabled, it’s typically thirty minutes prior to the servers going offline. They’ll usually tweet when matchmaking is disabled.

Here’s the official tweet announcing the 4.01 update:

Fortnite 4.01 Update Server Downtime and When They'll Be Back Up 12 September 2023

When Will The Fortnite Servers Be Back Only September 12, 2023?

There’s never any official information regarding when the Fortnite servers will be back online. However, based on how long the servers have been down for other releases, we can take a guess.

It’s likely the servers will be back online on September 12th, 2023 at roughly 6 AM ET / 11 AM BST / 12 PM CEST. We’ll update this section of the article when the servers are officially back online.

Fortnite Early Update Patch Notes – New v26.10 Release

As you can see from the image above, Epic provided a teaser when announcing the downtime. The teaser, “brrrr” with a cold face emoji likely hints at a new collaboration.

According to popular data miner iFireMonkey, the teaser could be hinting at the following:

  • Sub Zero
  • Shoto Todoroki
  • Just Eclipse doin’ Eclipse things

And the reasoning behind these guesses are:

  • Mortal Kombat 1 Releases on the 19th
  • MHA Wave 2 leaked before
  • Temperatures drop during an eclipse

We should also expect to see new cosmetics being added in the 4.01 update as well as new weekly quests, and the chance of more collaborations being added to the files.

There’s a high chance we could see the return of the Pizza Party item due to Piper Pace’s Snapshot quests that require the use of the item.

With every new Fortnite update, Epic will always look to add new augments, and it’s likely that’ll be the same with today’s v26.10 release.

Here are some of the augments that Epic has planned, although there’s no certainty the below augments will be released:

▫ Revamped Siphon
– Heals 8 HP per shot
– Is multiplied by 0.01, meaning you’d either only get 0.8 HP per shot or 8.08 depending on which way it’s multiplied.

▫ Ninja Training
– 1.3x Movement speed while crouched

▫ Farm Fresh
– Farm Items (Corn, Apples, etc) give +10 extra healing

▫ Marksman Crit
– Headshots with Marksman weapons (DMRs) are higher by x0.15 (Legendary Thermal DMR would do 74 headshot damage instead of 64.35)

▫ Party Time
– Gain balloons over time
– Updated to not spawn balloons while using the Rocket Ram

A new DMR item was teased in the chapter 4 season 4 trailer which could be released in this new update. It’ll have a toggleable zoom as seen in the trailer which can be seen below.

Bug Fixes in Fortnite 26.10 (4.01) Update

Battle Royale Bug Fixes:
Auto Running will work while Alt-Tabbing Again
Vault Display Cases will no longer randomly become impossible to interact with
Re-Rolling Augments will count for Spend Bars Quests
Players will no longer get stuck at 9 out of 10 on Survivor Medals
Heist music will no longer play for the entire match after visiting one of the three new POIs.

Fortnite Update Today Patch Notes – Sticky Grenade Launcher & Shield Breaker EMP 6th September 2023

Epic Games has released a new Fortnite update today (September 6th, 2023). Here are the patch notes for today’s hotfix.

It’s been just under two weeks since Epic Games released Fortnite chapter 4 season 4 and for the most part, the new season has gone down well with the player base.

With season four being a short season, we won’t see as many updates as we’re used to seeing. However, that doesn’t mean Epic won’t be releasing anything new between major releases.

During the release of season four, data miners leaked upcoming content during downtime, some of which are expected to be added to the game within the next couple of weeks.

One of the items that was leaked, a new grenade, is now available after a hotfix update introduced the new item to the game.

Fortnite Patch Notes – September 6th, 2023 Update

Although there’s no update to download, Epic Games has added a decent amount of content for a simple hotfix release.

Yesterday, Epic updated the in-game news feed to announce that the Shield Breaker EMP grenade would be added to the game.

This was later replaced with an image of the Sticky Grenade Launcher. However, neither was released yesterday and both of the items were removed from the in-game news feed.

In today’s new Fortnite hotfix update, Epic has released both the Sticky Grenade Launcher and the Shield Breaker EMP.

We also have some new reality augments added to the game including the previously leaked Storm Chaser and High Voltage perks.

Fortnite Shield Breaker EMP

Throw down a Shield Breaker EMP to damage enemy Shields and temporarily disable electrical systems like cameras, turrets, and laser grids. But watch out during your base escape, as Shield Breakers EMPs can also bring vehicles to a stop.

Shield Breaker EMP

Sticky Grenade Launcher

So your robbery attempts aren’t sticking the landing. No big deal — use the Sticky Grenade Launcher to fire projectiles that stick on surfaces! These projectiles will explode after a short delay, damaging nearby enemies and structures.

Here’s the information on the new augment realities.

EXPLOSIVE SURPLUS

When explosions aren’t enough, add more explosions. After activating the Explosive Surplus Reality Augment, you’ll instantly gain rocket ammo, and containers you open will always have rocket ammo. Combo the rocket-ammo-using Sticky Grenade Launcher with this Reality Augment to be a fiery force to be reckoned with!
Fortnite Explosive Surplus Reality AugmentHIGH VOLTAGE

Activate the High Voltage Reality Augment to instantly gain a Business Turret and Shield Breaker EMPs. With this Reality Augment activated, eliminations you get will grant additional Shield Breaker EMPs.
Fortnite High Voltage Reality Augment

STORM CHASER

Also thinkable as “Storm running-away-from-er,” the Storm Chaser Reality Augment reduces the amount of Energy drained while sprinting. The drain will be even more reduced in the Storm.

Fortnite Storm Chaser Reality Augment

If chasing the Storm (or rather, running away from the Storm) isn’t a thrill enough, the Roaming Redeploy Reality Augment has been unvaulted. Gain Glider Redeploy whenever you gain immunity to fall damage!

New Fortnite 4.00 Update Today Patch Notes – 30th August 2023

Epic Games has released a new patch update, 4.00. Here are the patch notes for the latest downloadable release.

Last Friday, Epic released a new season of Fortnite; chapter 4 season 4. If leaks are correct, this will be the penultimate season of chapter 4 with Epic Games sent to release season 5 which will last only a month.

The release of the new season saw numerous bugs and glitches introduced into the game, something we’ve become used to over the past few releases.

With new additions to the game, some of them will likely have some bugs and glitches that obviously aren’t intended.

One example is the Rocket Ram. The new item allowed players to send vehicles flying into the sky to allow an easy way to get around the map.

The glitch can be seen in the embedded tweet below.

There have also been issues with the inconsistency in the amount of damage the Rocket Ram will deal with direct hits. However, to combat this, Epic has buffed the item to deal 50 player damage instead of 25.

The above was a hotfix that didn’t require a new downloadable update. Howver, Epic Games have released a new Fortnite update today, 4.00, and players are wondering if there’s any new content.

Fortnite 4.00 Update Patch Notes (08/30/23)

Just under an hour ago, Epic released the 4.00 Fortnite update which they announced on the official Fortnite status Twitter account.

The 4.00 Fortnite update has been released on the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Android.

As expected, there is no new content with the release and the update only addresses stability issues players have been experiencing since the start of the new season.

You can check out the official tweet below.

Fortnite 4.00 Update 30 August 2023

We won’t see another downloadable Fortnite update until a week and a half. However, it’s likely we’ll get a content update on Tuesday, 5th September, that’ll include a new item or an item returning from the vault.
