New v28.20 Fortnite Update Today 4.13 Patch Notes, LEGO Fortnite – 7 February 2024 Server Downtime (1.000.124)

Epic Games has announced a brand new Fortnite update today (02.07.24), v28.20 (4.13)(1.000.124). Here are the early patch notes for the latest release.

A couple of weeks ago, we had the first major Fortnite update in the new year.

Although there wasn’t much in the way of new content, we did see a host of bug fixes that were plaguing the game along with some quality-of-life improvements for the LEGO Fortnite game mode.

Last week, Epic released a content hotfix update that reintroduced the business turrets that’ll likely remain in the game for the rest of the season.

Earlier today, Epic Games announced that the next new Fortnite update, v28.20 (4.13) will be released today, on 7th February 2024.

Here are the early patch notes for both the Battle Royale and LEGO Fortnite game modes.

Fortnite February 7 2024 Server Downtime – When Will The Servers Be Back Up?

Epic Games announced that the Fortnite servers will go down for scheduled maintenance in order to prepare for today’s v28.20 (4.13) Fortnite update.

The Fortnite server downtime begins at 4 AM ET / 9 AM GMT, but matchmaking will be disabled shortly beforehand, likely thirty minutes before the scheduled downtime.

Here’s the official tweet from the Fortnite Status Twitter account:

Fortnite 4.13 Update Server Downtime 28.20 7 February 2024

Epic never mention anything regarding what time the Fortnite servers will be back online after scheduled maintenance.

However, based on the last few updates, it’s likely the servers will be back online on 7th February 2024 at 7 AM ET / 12 PM GMT / 1 PM CEST.

We’ll update this section as soon as the servers are back up.

Fortnite v28.20 4.13 Update Today Patch Notes (02.07.24)

We’ll be getting some TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle) event skins including Shredder along with some mythic items for the collaboration.

Shredder TMNT Fortnite Skin

According to leads, we should also see some map changes, however, there are no leaks on what exactly will be added to the map.

Although the v28.20 Fortnite update goes live today, the TMNT Cowabunga event will not go live until February 9th, 2024.

TMNT Cowabunga Fortnite Event

Along with the TMNT event, the Pizza Party will be getting unvaulted. If you’re not familiar with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they love pizza, which is how we know the item will be unvaulted.

Augments could be making a return depending on whether Epic wants to bring them back, but they have been working on some TMNT Fortnite augments, so it seems plausible they’ll return in today’s new Fortnite v28.20 (4.13)(1.000.124) patch release.

We’ll have new quests, and new skins that’ll be leaked along with changes and fixes to all the other game modes.

Leaked v28.20 Fortnite Skins (1.000.124)

We’ll update this section with the leaked Fortnite skins from today’s v28.20 update. Be sure to check back to this section and scroll down for the LEGO Fortnite update patch notes for February 7th, 2024.

LEGO Fortnite 28.20 Update Patch Notes – Feb 7th, 2024 (1.000.124)

Epic already released the 28.20 (4.13)(1.000.124) LEGO Fortnite update patch notes for the 7th February 2024 patch update.

They also teased a new feature coming to LEGO Fortnite in the next update at the end of the patch notes. The patch notes ended with “in our v28.30 update, expect to reel in a lot of fun…” which seems to confirm that fishing will be coming to the game in two weeks.

Here are the full patch notes for LEGO Fortnite for the v28.20 (4.13) update released on 7th Feb 2024 which includes the addition of the Hunting Dagger:

Epic Games has released a new downloadable Fortnite update today, 4.12 (1.000.123), on January 30th, 2024. Here are the patch notes for the release.

It’s been a week since Epic Games released the first major Fortnite update of the season with the v28.10 release.

The update didn’t include much for the core Battle Royale game mode. However, there were a large number of changes to LEGO Fortnite.

Although a Jump Pad was the only new addition to LEGO Fortnite, there was a long list of changes and quality-of-life improvements Epic Games released.

A few skins also received a LEGO Style including Thanos, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Loki, and Finn, and more outfits will get a LEGO style over the coming months.

Every major new Fortnite update is usually followed by a content update although they usually just bring back a previously vaulted item.

Today, Epic Games announced a new Fortnite update, 4.12 (1.000.123) will be released today. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest release.

Epic Games has made a host of changes to the LEGO Fortnite game mode. Here are the full patch notes with a list of changes.

It’s been well over a month since Epic Games released the LEGO Fortnite game mode, and it’s gone down as a huge success.

We haven’t had a major update for LEGO Fortnite since the release of the game mode due to the Epic employees taking a break over the festive period.

However, Epic released the v28.10 LEGO Fortnite update today which includes a large number of changes as well as a couple of new items being added.

Here are the full patch notes for the 23rd January 2024 v28.10 update.

MORE UPDATES!

We’ve seen a ton of amazing creations in LEGO® Fortnite already, and v28.10 makes creating even easier whether you’re piecing together a mountainside mansion, assembling a rocket-powered flying machine, or anything in between! Check out what’s changed:

  • Placing a build will now remove any small bushes, rocks, or plants that are in the way.
  • You can now more reliably place builds on slopes.
  • Want more Building Parts? A variety of new sizes and styles for Floors, Walls, and Roofs have been added so you can fill in gaps and have more options available!
  • You can now abandon a build in progress. This will leave any parts already placed and remove the blue preview parts so you can continue customizing your creation.
  • It’s now more obvious when you’re using Snap Mode, and we’ve added more snap points to Building Parts so that they lock together easier.

JUST VILLAGE THINGS

  • Bushranger, Rustler, and Tomatohead can now appear as potential Villagers to join your adventure!
  • Villages can now be instantly removed with the “Delete Village” option in the Village Square. This new option is available to the world owner and keyholders.
  • Don’t want a Villager in town anymore? You can now remove them by getting rid of their bed and then asking them to leave.

OTHER STUFF

  • Chest rewards have been improved with better loot, especially those from fighting enemies and solving puzzles.
  • Blasters have wandered out of their caves and can be found in the desert, making Blast Cores easier to obtain.
    • Speaking of caves, Brutes have found their way into some — be careful down there!
  • Hermit Crabs now attack your Villagers, and they attack back!
  • You can now get rid of any unwanted items, like a Skeleton’s pickaxe ;), by throwing them in a Campfire.
  • We’ve added a legend to the map to show players’ respawn and backpack locations.

MORE OUTFITS GET A LEGO STYLE!

With v28.10, more Outfits in Fortnite have received a LEGO Style! If you already own these Outfits, their LEGO Styles are currently in your Locker:

Fortnite New Update Today v28.10 (4.11) Patch Notes – 23 January 2024

Epic Games has released the first major Fortnite update of the year with the v28.10 release today (4.11). Here are the patch notes for the 23rd January 2024 release.

Epic Games haven’t released a new major Fortnite update in over a month with the employees taking an extended break to recharge for the new year.

The last update introduced the Fortnite Christmas event, although it didn’t go down too well with the community due to Epic removing the Winterfest cabin and daily presents.

However, we knew a new Fortnite update would be coming eventually that would introduce new content for Fortnite Battle Royale, Fortnite LEGO, Rocket Racing, and the Festival game mode.

Late last night, Epic announced when the server downtime for the v28.10 (4.11) release would be. The servers went down at 4 AM ET / 9 AM GMT, and are now back online.

Here are our patch notes for the v28.10 (4.11) update which we’ll update with further information once the official patch notes are posted.

Fortnite 4.11 v28.10 Patch Notes – January 23rd 2024

In today’s update, Epic added back the Anvil Rocket Launcher, an item that was first added to the game in Chapter3season2.

The Enforcer AR received a buff with the headshot damage multiplier increasing along with less recoil and faster recoil time.

Here are the full changes to the item:

Epic also updated TNTina’s bow and Jule’s Drum which could mean they’ll be making a return to the game soon.

Fortnite LEGO received some changes with Fortnite skins receiving LEGO variants along with the introduction of a dagger item and launch pad.

We’ll have more on the LEGO update in a separate article.

When is Fortnite New Year’s 2024 Event – Start Time

Here’s everything you need to know about the 2024 Fortnite New Year’s event.

It’s been a few weeks since Epic Games released Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1: Underground which included a number of new game modes.

The new chapter introduced a brand new Fortnite map and some movement changes, some of which have been altered since release based on player feedback.

Overall, the new chapter has gone down well with the player base largely thanks to the three new game modes including LEGO Fortnite.

However, with LEGO Fortnite launching with limited content, the player count of the mode has gone from over 2 million to roughly 250,000 concurrent players.

It’s likely Epic Games has a lot planned for the LEGO Fortnite mode and Fortnite in general including the return of the OG Fortnite map, although there’s no timescale as to when Epic will rerelease the map.

Players can still log in to Fortnite and claim their free cosmetic rewards from the quest tab. The two free skins are already available to collect along with other cosmetic items including wraps, emotes, gliders, contrails, and more.

With the new year, Epic Games like to release a small Fortnite New Year’s event in Fortnite Battle Royale, and this year is no different.

Here’s everything you need to know about the 2024 Fortnite New Year’s event including the time it’ll take place within the game.

Fortnite New Years Event 2024 Start Time

The Fortnite New Years 2024 event has already started in-game. Like previous years, the New Year’s Fortnite event begins when it hits 2024 in Australia.

The mini New Year’s Fortnite event takes place every hour, forcing players to put away their items and dance until the event concludes.

Fortnite New Year's Event Time 2024

That means if you haven’t been able to witness the Fortnite New Year’s 2024 event yet, you should be able to at the start of every hour until January 2nd, 2024.

A rift appears in the sky just after the visible countdown concludes with a disco ball appearing before you’re forced to dance. It’s important to remember this when engaging in a fight when it hits a new hour.

Fortnite Disco Ball Why Am I Dancing

There’ll also be fireworks that’ll show “2024” before quickly disappearing.

Here’s what the event looks like in-game:

Epic Games Store 2023 Free Mystery Games Hints Christmas Leaked List – 2nd January 2024

Here is everything you need to know about the 2023 Epic Games Store free games list for Christmas, including potential leaks.

If there’s one thing Epic Games are good at, it’s providing free things for players. Every year, Epic provides Fortnite players with dozens of free cosmetics from tournaments, community events, and holiday events including Winterfest.

This year has been no different with Epic providing more than ten cosmetics for free. However, they don’t usually include skins/cosmetics unless you place high enough in tournaments. However, the Winterfest event that’s currently ongoing provides players with two free skins.

Fortnite players have obtained free cosmetics from the Winterfest Cabin at 10 AM ET each day for the past two years.

However, Epic decided to remove the Cabin this year and provide players with free daily Fortnite cosmetics by navigating them from the quest tab.

We’ve also seen Epic Games provide free games each day for two weeks for the past two years, and we have the free Epic Games store games for Christmas yet again.

Fortnite Update Today 4.10 Server Downtime, Patch Notes – 19 December 2023 (28.01.01)

Epic Games announced a brand new Fortnite update today, 4.10 (v28.01.01). The servers will go offline for scheduled maintenance, and here’s what to expect from the December 19th, 2023 release.

It’s been a week since Epic Games released the last major Fortnite update, 28.01, the first major release on Chapter 5 Season 1: Underground.

The update included the highly anticipated Fortnite Christmas Winterfest event that includes the return of certain items, new challenges, NPCs, and more.

As usual, there are a handful of free cosmetics that players can obtain daily without having to complete any of the Winterfest quests.

However, instead of opening presents from the Winterfest Cabin like we’re used to, players need to navigate to the quest tab and claim their free daily cosmetic gift.

Unlike in previous Winterfest events that required players to wait more than a week before getting their hands on one of the free skins, players got the Holiday Boxy skin and the Lego variant two days ago.

The Winterfest Bushranger skin is the other free skin that’ll be available at some point during the next couple of weeks.

With Epic Games employees set to take a well-deserved break this week, there wasn’t much expectation for any new Fortnite updates to be released until the new year.

With Epic included quests up until week 6, it seems unlikely there would be a new Fortnite update today, but Epic Games has announced that the v28.01.01 (4.10) update will be released today.

Here’s everything you need to know about today’s 19 December 2023 4.10 (v28.01.01) Fortnite update including if the servers will go down for scheduled maintenance and more.

Is Fortnite Servers Down Right Now? When Will They Be Back Up? 19 December 2023

Epic Games has pushed a few hotfix updates for both Battle Royale and Lego over the past couple of weeks, so it seemed unlikely there would be a new Fortnite update that required downtime.

However, Epic announced on the Fortnite Status Twitter account that the Fortnite servers will go down today, 19th December 2023 for scheduled maintenance.

The Fortnite servers will go down on December 19th, 2023, at 4 AM ET / 9 AM GMT / 10 AM CST. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before the server downtime.

Here’s the official announcement from the Fortnite Status Twitter account:

Are Fortnite Servers Down Right Now 19 December 2023

Epic Games never states how long the Fortnite servers will be down. However, based on previous updates, we’re assuming the Fortnite servers will be back up at roughly 6 AM ET / 11 AM GMT / 12 PM CST on 19th December 2023.

We’ll update this section of the article when the Fortnite servers are back online.

Fortnite v28.01.01 (4.10) Update Patch Notes (12/19/23)

Don’t expect much in terms of new content from today’s v28.01.01 (4.10) Fortnite update. We know that this new release will address several issues that have plagued the game since the launch of the new chapter.

We also know there will be some gameplay changes that the player base has been crying out for including adjustments to movement.

Alongside the update announcement on the Fortnite Status account, Epic Games mentioned the new release on the main account.

They teased some gameplay improvement changes across the board including changes to movement.

There’s no specific information regarding the movement changes, but they tweeted a GIF of Tyler ‘Ninja’ Belvins’ infamous “I’m not seeing enough movement” clip which all but confirms movement changes.

Fortnite v28.01.01 Update Movement Changes

We’ll update this section of the article when Epic Games releases the full patch notes for today’s 4.10  (v28.01.01) Fortnite update.

There shouldn’t be any leaks from today’s release but if there are, we’ll be sure to cover them and anything else that’s new from the release.

How to Visit Crackshot’s Cabin When the Floating Loot island Appears Fortnite Location

Here’s how to complete the Visit Crackshot’s Cabin When the Floating Loot Island Appears Fortnite Winterfest 2023 quest.

The Fortnite Christmas event for 2023 is finally here. Earlier in the day, Epic Games announced the arrival of Fortnite Winterfest 2023.

There are some changes this year with the Cabin not making an appearance. Last year, the Winterfest Cabin provided a location for players to open a daily present.

Each present contained a free cosmetic item with the skins available after the first week and as the final present players could open.

This year, players can get their free cosmetics from the quest tab. However, players won’t need to complete any quests to obtain the free daily cosmetic.

However, if players complete 19 quests, they’ll unlock the free Snowglobe Smasher Pickaxe.

One of the quests available on day 1 of Winterfest 2023 requires players to Visit Crackshot’s Cabin When the Floating Loot Island Appears.

For those needing help, here’s the location of where you can find Crackshot’s Cabin on the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1: Underground map.

Where to Visit Crackshot’s Cabin Fortnite Map Location

To complete this challenge, you’ll need to visit Crackshot’s Cabin when the floating island appears on the Fortnite map.

The Floating Island spawns near the end of a match. Simply get onto the island to complete the quest as that’s where you’ll find Crackshot’s Cabin in Fortnite chapter 5.

There is no set location where you can find Crackshot’s Cabin on the Fortnite chapter 5 map as the island spawns at different locations on each map.

However, you’ll be able to see where the floating island and Crackshot’s Cabin will be as you’ll see a butterfly rift icon on the map as well as being able to see the rift before the island appears.

Crackshot's Cabin Fortnite Chapter 5 Map Location

Once the Floating Island appears, you can use any of the ziplines to get up to visit Crackshot’s Cabin.

You will complete the visit Crackshot’s Cabin when the Floating Loot Island appears as soon as you’ve ziplined up.

How to Visit a Ship It! Express Location in Fortnite

Here are the locations where players can visit a Ship It! location in Fortnite.

Epic Games released the Winterfest 2023 Fortnite Christmas event earlier in the day with a few changes from last year’s event.

There is no Winterfest cabin or presents to open that’ll contain cosmetic rewards this year. Instead, players can get their free cosmetics from the quest tab each day.

As with any Winterfest Fortnite event, there are several quests to complete. Although there aren’t many free rewards from completing the quests, players can still get season XP.

The Snowglobe Smasher Pickaxe is also available once players complete 19 quests.

Here’s what the pickaxe looks like:

One of the quests requires players to visit a Ship It! Express location on the Fortnite chapter 5 season 1: Underground map.

Here are the locations where you can visit a Ship It! Express location.

The visit a Ship It! Express quest is very straightforward to complete. However, some players might not know where the Ship It! Express location is on the map.

It appears as though there’s only one location to complete this challenge.

Players will need to head between Pleasant Piazza and Fencing Fields. Here’s the exact location where you’ll want to drop on the map.

To complete the challenge, players need to drop down and enter the large Ship It! Express warehouse.
