Epic Games have announced that players can unlock the new Pickle Rick Fortnite back bling for free. Here’s how to get it.

Two weeks ago, Epic Games released the v22.20 Fortnite update. The release saw the Fortnitemares 2022 Halloween event go live. During the event, players can use new and old Halloween-themed items.

There were also a large number of quests that players could complete. By completing these quests, players could earn XP and cosmetics. There were a few smaller cosmetics available by completing certain challenges.

The more sought-after rewards were available by completing five, thirteen, and twenty-five challenges. With the event now over, players are unable to complete any remaining challenges.

Although the above three cosmetic rewards are no longer available. Epic Games have released another free cosmetic reward that’s available by completing the Horde Rush quests.

The Pickle Rick Fortnite back bling is available for free and here’s how to get it.

How to Unlock Fortnite Pickle Rick Back Bling For Free

During downtime, data miners leaked that a Pickle Rick back bling was added to the files. Surprisingly, Epic Games have made the back bling free for players to get.

In order to get the free Pickly Rick Fortnite back bling, players will need to complete eight of the Horde Rush quests. Here’s what the back bling looks like:

Here’s a list of all the new Horde Rush quests:

• Eliminate Cube Monsters
• Open chests in Horde Rush
• Collect score multipliers
• Eliminate ranged Cube Monsters with Sideways weapons
• Earn an x50 KO Streak
• Get headshots on Cube Monsters in a single match
• Deal melee damage to Cube Monster spawners
• Earn 2,000,000 combined team points
• Earn a Team Score of at least 350,000 in a single match
• Eliminate poison or exploding Cube Monsters from at least 15 meters away
• Deal damage to Cube Monsters

The quests are available until November 15th and can be found on the quests page.

Epic Games have announced the Fortnite x Star Wars Skywalker week. Here are all the details for the event.

The Fortnite v22.30 update went live today. Prior to server downtime, popular Fortnite leaker, ShiinaBR, stated that three “beloved” characters would be added to the game in the new patch.

He went on to mention that other in-game surprises would be added to the game. During downtime, leakers data mined the new files that were added with the new update.

A new event was leaked, Fortnite x Star Wars Skywalker week. As expected, three new Fortnite Star Wars skins were leaked along with other cosmetics including an R2-D2 back bling.

Fortnite’s Skywalker week also sees the return of previously released Star Wars items. Here are the full details of the latest collaboration.

Fortnite Skywalker Week Lightsabers Return

The Skywalker Fortnite week is live and will run until November 8th, 2022. Players can complete special quests for XP which can be completed by using Star Wars items.

Both Luke’s blue lightsaber and Luke’s green lightsaber can be found in the game. The blue lightsaber can be found in imperial chests found around certain areas of the map.

The green lightsaber can be found on the ground and in regular chests. Darth Vader’s lightsaber has also been unvaulted and can be obtained by defeating the Darth Vader boss. Unlike the other lightsabers, players can throw Darth Vader’s lightsaber.

As is the norm when there’s a new Star Wars x Fortnite collaboration, the E-11 Blaster Rifle has also been unvaulted. Stormtroopers also make a return to the map and players can exchange gold bars in order to get their hands on the blaster.

They can also be found on the ground, in imperial chests, and in regular chests. Finally, the Junk Rift has also been unvaulted for Skywalker week. This week, there’s a chance using a Junk Rift will drop Luke Skywalker’s X-34 Landspeeder.

Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo Fortnite Skins – R2-D2 Back Bling

The original Star Wars Fortnite trilogy set expands with the release of Luke Skywalker, Leia, and Han Solo. There’s also a R2-D2 back bling that can be purchased.

• Luke Skywalker Outfit: Force-sensitive farmer and galactic hero.
• Training Remote Back Bling: You better get on with your exercises. (Included with the Luke Skywalker Outfit.)

Epic Games have announced a new Fortnite update for today, v22.30 (3.72). Here are the early patch notes for the 1st November 2022 release.

The Fortnitemares 2022 Halloween was released two weeks ago and has now concluded. Players were able to earn themselves three free cosmetics by completing the Fortnitemares quests.

The cosmetics were a back bling, a pickaxe, and a glider. Other less sought-after rewards like a spray and contrail were also available by completing certain quests.

There’s still no information on the free Fortnite Chrome Punk skin. Originally, data miners stated that the skin would be free by earning fifty account levels.

However, there was no information regarding when the Chrome Punk would be available but data miners did state that there was no scheduled date as to when players would have to achieve the fifty account levels.

Based on the fact that it’s a Halloween-themed skin, there’s a chance Epic decided not to release the skin and quests to get the skin for free. However, we’ll likely know for certain with the release of the next new Fortnite update.

We already know when the next Fortnite update will be released, today, November 1st, 2022. Here’s all the information we know so far about the 22.30 (3.72) Fortnite update.

Fortnite Scheduled Maintenance Server Downtime – November 1, 2022

Epic Games almost always announce a new Fortnite update a day before it’s scheduled to go live. The v22.30 Fortnite update is no different with Epic releasing a tweet on the official Fortnite Status Twitter account.

The 3.72 patch will require server downtime with the Fortnite servers scheduled to go down at 4 AM ET (8 AM GMT). Matchmaking will be disabled shortly before 4 AM although no exact time was specified.

When Will the Fortnite Servers Be Back Up? Current Status

When Epic Games announce a new update and state when the servers will go offline for maintenance, they never mention how long the servers will be down.

However, from the previous few updates, we can assume the servers will be down for around two hours. That means the servers should be back online at approximately 6 AM ET / 10 AM GMT.

We’ll update the below server status when they’re back online.

Early 3.72 (v22.30) Fortnite Patch Notes – November 1st, 2022

Usually, data miners leak what could potentially be added in a new Fortnite update. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case with today’s v22.30 (3.72) update.

There’s no information on what new features and items we can expect today. However, we do know that Epic Games will be adding three “beloved” characters to the game tomorrow once downtime ends.

We don’t know the characters that’ll be added but there’s no doubt they’ll be leaked during downtime. Along with the beloved characters being added to the game, there will be other in-game surprised.

Again, we don’t know what these in-game surprises are but they should be leaked by data miners during downtime. The cosmetics are likely to be collaboration cosmetics and will include the following:

• Three skins
• Three back blings
• Three pickaxes
• One emote
• One glider

A new upcoming collaboration has been leaked. Here are the details for the Ralph Lauren x Fortnite collaboration.

It’s no secret that Epic Games are looking to continue expanding its metaverse. In this season’s Battle Pass, players can unlock the Marvel skin, Spider-Gwen.

Since the launch of Fortnite chapter three season four, Epic Games have added the following skins:

• X-23
• Queen Summer
• Mr. Meeseeks
• Black Adam
• Ash Williams

We’ve seen Epic release cosmetics for popular content creators including Ninja and SypherPK as well as music artists such as Travis Scott and Arianna Grande.

We’ve even seen a couple of collaborations with fashion companies including Balenciaga. It looks like we’ll be getting another collaboration with a major brand, Ralph Lauren.

Here’s what we know about the upcoming Fortnite x Ralph Lauren Collaboration including an early look at the skins.

Release Date

There’s no information regarding a release date for the Polo Ralph Lauren Fortnite skins but it’s likely that they’ll be available within the next couple of weeks.

Epic Games have revealed the cosmetics that’ll be available in the next Fortnite Crew Pack for November 2022. Monthly subscribers will receive the Inkquisitor skin.

Players can get their hands on cosmetics by purchasing them from the Fortnite Item Shop or for free through challenges. The first Fortnite Crew monthly subscription pack was released last year, and for the most part, it seems to be a success.

Every month, players can get their hands on cosmetics that are exclusive to the Crew Pack subscription along with V-Bucks and the Battle Pass. There have been times in the past when players have received other perks.

On two occasions, players have been given free access to Save the World. However, it hasn’t been part of the last few crew packs, and that’s also the case for the November 2022 Fortnite Crew Pack which has just been announced.

The last crew pack included the Red Claw skin, a back bling, a wrap, a pickaxe, a loading screen, music packs, and V-Bucks. It’s still available if you sign up for the monthly subscription before November 1st.

As expected, the Inkquisitor Fortnite skin will feature in the new crew pack along with matching cosmetics.

Inkquisitor was added to the game in last week’s v22.20 update as a boss that can be found at Grim Gables. Upon defeating the boss, players can get the mythic version of the suppressed SMG.

Epic Games have sent out a new survey for players’ opinions on skin concepts. Here’s a look at all the Fortnite survey skins released in the October 2022 survey.

The sale of Fortnite skins makes up most of the revenue Epic Games generates from the popular Battle Royale title. Most skins are available to purchase individually, but packs and bundles are occasionally available.

In the first few months of Fortnite’s popularity, most of the outfits were originally ideas but for the past couple of years, we’ve seen an influx of collaboration cosmetics including outfits.

In this season’s Battle Pass, players are able to unlock the Spider-Gwen skin. More collaborations have followed including the release of the X-23 X-Men skin. DC’s Black Adam, Queen Summer, and Mr. Meeseeks from Rick and Morty.

More recently, the Evil Dead Ash Williams skin was released, and with just over a month to go until the new season, there’s no doubt that we’ll be getting more collaboration cosmetics before season four ends.

Although there are plenty of collaboration cosmetics, Epic Games still create a good number of original skins. Some of these skins are created by players whilst the others are created by the design team.

In the past, Epic has showcased upcoming outfits in the Fortnite skins survey. Most of the Fortnite survey skins end up making their way into the game at some point whether it’s part of an upcoming Battle Pass or available in the item shop.

The last Fortnite skins survey we got was in May. Today, players are reporting that they received another Fortnite skins survey. Thanks to data miners, we can take a look at all of the skins that have been posted on social media so far.

This is the fourth set of Fortnite survey skins we’ve seen. The survey released in May had more than fifty outfits, some of which have been released in the Battle Pass or item shop.

A new day, a new set of Fortnitemares quests to complete. Today, players have been asked to find and destroy jack o’ lanterns with a ranged weapon. Here are the locations of the Jack-O’-Lanterns in chapter 3 season 4.

We’re nine days into the Fortnitemares 2022 Halloween event. The event is scheduled to end next week on Tuesday, 1st November, which is when we’re expecting the third major patch update to release.

Until then, we’ll continue to see two new Fortnitemares quests released each day. So far, there are eighteen quests available to complete. That means that two of the three cosmetic rewards are available to unlock right now.

The Everything’s End Glider was the first cosmetic that was available for players to get once they completed five Fortnitemares quests. The second reward, the Chrome Cafe Back Bling, was available a few days ago and requires players to complete thirteen challenges.

The final cosmetic reward is the Unmaker Pickaxe. In order to obtain the pickaxe, players will need to complete twenty-five challenges. That means it won’t be available to unlock until Sunday, 30th October.

If you’ve not played Fortnitemares this year or haven’t seen the rewards for any other reason, here’s what the glider, back bling, and pickaxe rewards look like:

We’re still not sure when the free Chrome Punk skin will be available but we do know that once it does release, players will have beyond the end of the current season to obtain it if the information from data miners is correct.

There might be more information regarding the free Halloween skin in the next couple of days. Any new information will be reported as soon as it becomes available.

In the meantime, there are new quests to complete. One of the new quests requires players to destroy jack-o’-lanterns with a ranged weapon. Upon completing this quest, players will receive a cosmetic reward, The Chicken Returns Spray. Here’s what it looks like:

Where to find and destroy Jack-o’-Lanterns in Fortnite

The destroy jack-o’-lanterns with a ranged weapon is one of the more difficult Fortnitemares challenges simply because you can’t see the locations of jack-o’-lanterns on the Fortnite map when clicking the challenge on the quest interface.

Unfortunately, the locations where you can find and destroy jack-o’-lanterns in Fortnite are fairly spread out. That means you’ll need to do a bit of traveling around the map to complete the challenge.

Alternatively, you could always destroy them in one place, exit a match, drop them at the same location, and destroy the same Jack-o’-Lanterns. Either way, you’ll want to start the challenge off by landing on the south side of Greasy Grove.

Here’s the exact location on the map where you’ll want to drop to get this challenge started:

From the above location, look north. On your right side, you’ll see the green-colored house. Outside the front door of the house is your first jack-o-lantern to destroy.

From the above location, head northeast to the white-colored house that’s on the northeast side of Greasy Grove. From the below image, you can see the location of the pumpkin from the minimap in the corner.

Head west to the yellow-colored house. You’ll find two jack-o’-lanterns to destroy here with one located to the left of the fence door that’s located near the front door.

The other one can be found in front of the other door that leads into the kitchen.

If you’ve managed to find and destroy all of the Jack-o’-Lanterns above, you’ve destroyed a total of four. That means you only need to destroy one more in order to complete the challenge.

There are a few locations where you can find more Jack-o’-Lanterns in Fortnite, but we’ll be heading to Tilted Towers. Drop on the southwest side of the popular location as marked below:

If you’re looking east down the road, on your right you’ll have the first house that’s next to the clock building. Outside the house are two Jack o Lanterns to destroy.

Once you’ve destroyed at least one of them, you’ll have completed the challenge and unlocked the spray reward.

To destroy the jack o’ lanterns with a ranged weapon, ensure you have an item that can deal damage at range. Simply shoot at the jack o’ lanterns in order to destroy them with a ranged weapon.

One of the new Fortnitemares Halloween quests requires players to find and read epitaphs at different goofy gravestones. Here are all the locations where you can complete today’s challenge.

It’s been just over a week since the Fortnite Halloween event, Fortnitemares, went live. For the most part, it appears as though it hasn’t gone down as well as Epic Games would have expected.

It’s hard to top the first Fortnitemares event that launched in 2018 thanks to the quality of free cosmetics that were available by completing the set of quests.

During the 2018 event, players could unlock the Dark Engine Glider. Based on the feedback we’ve seen from players that were around during the event, it seems like that cosmetic reward tops the cosmetics available this year.

However, we’re still waiting on the release of the free Chrome Punk skin that’ll be available to unlock by earning fifty account levels.

There was more content that was added for Fortnitemares in previous years whereas this year, we’ve only seen Howler Claws being added to the game along with the return of a couple of previously released items.

Regardless, there are still quests to complete in order to unlock the final Fortnitemares 2022 reward, the Unmaker Pickaxe. It’s not available as of writing as the requirement to unlock it is to complete twenty-five Fortnitemares quests.

There are two new quests available each day and the next set are now available to complete. One of the new quests requires players to read epitaphs at different goofy gravestones.

Here are what the Epitaph’s goofy gravestones are and the locations where you’ll be able to find and read them in chapter 3 season 4.

What are Epitaphs at Goofy Gravestones?

Epitaph is a short text that honors a deceased person that’s inscribed on a tombstone or plaque. Epic has tasked players with reading them at Gooft Gravestones which will look like this:

Where to find and read epitaphs at different goofy gravestones in Fortnite

In order to complete this challenge, players will need to read epitaphs on five different goofy gravestones. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to complete this challenge at one location, so you’ll need to do a little bit of traveling around the map.

One of the best locations to land at in order to complete this challenge is Grim Gables as there are two epitaphs you can read at different goofy gravestones.

You’ll want to land on the southeast side of Grim Gables as marked in the image below:

Head down the wooden stairs and you’ll be in the graveyard. On the right of the stairs, you’ll find the first goofy gravestone that’ll allow you to read the epitaphs.

Head southeast from the above location which is just behind you and there will be another goofy gravestone that will allow you to read the epitaph.

The rest of the goofy gravestones locations all have just one epitaph that you can read. Here’s a list of all the locations where you can find and read epitaphs at different goofy gravestones along with a map:

• Shiny Sound
• Grim Gables
• Chrome Crossroads
• The lake house north of Tilted Towers
• Tilted Towers

Epic Games have released a new Fortnite content update today. Here are the full patch notes for the 25th of October 2022 release.

It’s been a week since the last major Fortnite update, v22.20. The update included this year’s Halloween event, Fortnitemares 2022.

The patch saw the return of previously released Halloween-themed items including candy and the Pumpkin Rocket Launcher. A new item, Howler Claws, was also added to the game.

The claws have three abilities to give players using them the upper hand. The wolfscent ability gives players the ability to track enemies nearby and the other two abilities are melee damage based.

To get the claws, players need to emote at altar alterations that are found around the chapter three season four map. Both the claws and altars were temporarily disabled due to an issue with the claws but both were reenabled yesterday.

Every major Fortnite update that’s released is usually followed up with a content update. During downtime for the previous update, data miners leaked some of the content that would be added or made a return.

Fortnite Update Patch Notes – October 25th, 2022

Crash Pads Unvaulted

Data miners usually reveal what items will be vaulted or unvaulted in content updates. However, nobody expected the crash pads to return from the vault in today’s content update.

Crash Pads were first released in Fortnite in the 12.30 update. They were vaulted in the v15.00 release and returned in the 21.30 update only to be vaulted at the start of this season.

For whatever reason, Epic has decided to add them back into the game. They’re a rare item with a max stack size of 6. You can throw them at a location to deploy them and use them as a trampoline.

Are Biplanes Back in Fortnite?

Popular data miners including Hypex stated that planes would be making a return to Fortnite in chapter 3 season 4. A week ago, there was a leak that suggested planes would be returning in today’s update.

However, planes have not returned to Fortnite in today’s Fortnite content update. Hypex put out a tweet stating Epic has delayed the release of planes and that they’ve removed this week’s quests that required the use of planes.

The v22.30 update is scheduled to go live next week, the same day the Fortnitemares event is set to end. There’s a chance we could see planes return then.

When the next update releases, we’ll be just over a month away from the new season, so it’s likely planes will only be around for a few weeks before being vaulted again.

Players have been tasked with helping to defeat Willow at Willow’s Haunt. Here’s the location of the Fortnitemares 2022 boss including tips on how to easily defeat them.

It’s been a week since the launch of the Halloween 2022 event, Fortnitemares. From what we’ve seen on social media, a large majority of the player base is getting bored with the event already.

The main complaint is the lack of new content and Halloween decorations around the map. Some have even compared this event to the one we had in 2019. The 2019 event had better rewards and more map changes for the Halloween season.

On the other hand, some players are happy with the event claiming it’s a better event than the one we had last year. Either way, players are able to unlock free cosmetic rewards by completing the Fortnitemares 2022 quests.

In previous seasons, we’ve had a short list of challenges that can be completed in the main Battle Royale game with a larger list of creative challenges to earn free rewards.

However, this year, we don’t have any creative quests that’ll provide players with cosmetics upon completion. Instead, we have two new challenges releasing each day that’ll either provide 15,000 season four XP or a cosmetic reward.

There are three major cosmetic rewards available this year, two of which are already available to unlock by completing a set number of quests. Below, you’ll find the cosmetics along with an image of what they look like.

One of the new quests that were unlocked earlier today tasks players with helping to defeat Willow at Willow’s Haunt. Here’s the location where you can complete the challenge and earn yourself 15,000 XP.

Where is Willow’s Haunt Location in Fortnite

The Fortnitemares 2022 event brought a few map changes including Grim Gables and Willow’s Haunt. You can find Willow’s Haunt on the west side of the chapter 3 season 4 location.

It’s northwest of the Reality Tree and southwest of the Rave Cave. Here’s the location marked on the map:

How to Help Defeat the Willow Boss in Fortnite

There were two bosses that were added in the v22.20 update; Willow and Inkquisitor. To help defeat Willow at Willow’s Haunt, you’ll need to do the following:

1) Grab yourself a weapon from one of the chests or floor loot spawn areas near the area marked on the map provided above. Once you have a suitable weapon to help defeat Willow with, head to the wooden cabin.

2) Head inside the cabin and Willow will appear. Willow is actually much easier to defeat than the Inkquisitor due to a lack of a long-range weapon.

In fact, Willow only has a pickaxe, so as soon as they start attacking you, simply run backward and shoot until they’ve been defeated. Willow doesn’t have a lot of shield or health, so it shouldn’t take you too long to complete the challenge.

The only issue with this challenge that other players have reported is the fact that there are players dropping at Willow’s Haunt to eliminate any player looking to complete the quest.

Be on the lookout for players dropping at Willow’s Haunt from the Battle Bus and adjust your strategy accordingly.
