Fortnite Servers Downtime: When Will They Be Back Up & Play Again December 3/4 2022

Fortnite chapter three has concluded with the Fracture live event. Players are currently unable to play the game with the servers down in preparation for Chapter 4. Here’s when you can expect to play Fortnite again.

After just under a year since the launch of Fortnite chapter three, it’s already concluded with the Fracture live event that took place today just after 4 PM ET.

There were rumors for almost two months that season four would conclude the current chapter. However, with there only four seasons, it seemed unlikely Epic would move on to chapter 4.

However, just over two weeks ago, Epic Games released a teaser image for the Fracture event that was labeled as the chapter three finale.

Last week, a blog post provided more information about the event including how to play and what to do before the season and chapter conclude.

The event concluded just over an hour ago with players being tasked with collecting Zero Point balls around broken parts of the Fortnite map that lasted just over forty minutes.

In my opinion, it was the worst Fortnite event we’ve had so far. There were numerous crashing issues during cut scenes, audio not playing, players not being able to login in to witness the event, and all around just being a boring waiting room for a one-minute cut scene.

However, during the cut scene, we got to see some of the Fortnite skins that’ll be available in chapter four including The Hulk, Geralt from The Witcher, Doom Slayer, and Mr Beast.

As soon as the event ended, players were loaded into a waiting screen where they can see their player toasting marshmallows over a campfire with the new map featuring in the distance.

Players are wondering how long the Fortnite servers downtime will last and when they’ll be able to play again. Here’s everything we know so far.

Is Fortnite Down Right Now? – December 3rd / 4th 2022

Yes, Fortnite is currently down on December 3rd, 2022. The servers will be down until December 4th, 2022.

When Will the Fortnite Servers Be Back Up & When Can I Play Again 2022

After the event, the Fortnite servers were brought down prior to downtime being announced for the release of chapter 4. Whenever Epic Games take the servers down, they never mention when Fortnite will be back up.

When Can I Play Fortnite Again December 3 4 2022

However, the last few season launches for Fortnite have seen the servers come back online at roughly 7 AM ET / 12 PM GMT/UTC. We’d expect you to be able to play Fortnite again just after 7 AM ET / 12 PM GMT.

We’ll update this as soon as the servers are online, but don’t expect them to be online any time before 4 AM ET.

Whilst you wait, head over to the Fortnite Chapter 4 website to enter coordinates and discover new objects. The site will likely provide insight into what you can expect to see next season.

Is a Mr Beast Fortnite Skin Coming in Chapter 4

Mr Beast is trending on Twitter right now with many anticipating a skin of the popular content creator after the conclusion of the Fracture live event.

Almost one year ago, Epic Games launched the third chapter of their popular Fortnite battle royale game. The chapter concluded with the conclusion of the fracture live event.

During the event, players were tasked with finding zero point balls. After enough time had passed, more locations on previous maps were added to the game.

Not only were players able to find and collect these zero point energy balls that are floating around, they could also break objects, play flashbacks, and complete other tasks to earn them.

The feedback on social media for the Fracture live event isn’t the best. Personally, I’d put it up there as one of the worst events we’ve had so far for multiple reasons.

There wasn’t much to the storyline but if anyone has played the game long enough, you’d know Epic doesn’t do a fantastic job of piecing the storyline together to make sense.

Spending just over forty minutes running around broken parts of the map and collecting energy balls isn’t what I’d label as fun. However, I’m sure there were plenty of players that enjoyed it.

During the event, we saw some Fortnite skins that would be coming in Fortnite chapter 4 including The Hulk, The Witcher, and Doom Slayer. However, there’s another skin that was teased during the cinematic ending to the event that has everyone talking.

Fortnite Mr Beast Skin

Jimmy Donaldson, known as Mr Beast, was briefly featured in the event and it led to many people suggesting we could be getting a Mr Beast Fortnite skin. At the 49-second mark of the “A New Beginning” trailer, you can see Mr Beast being dragged into the new map.

Mr Beast in Fortnite

Epic Games would feature Mr Beast unless he would be coming to the game as a skin. However, we don’t know when exactly he’ll be available to obtain in the game.

It’s extremely unlikely he’ll be part of the Battle Pass. After all, we’ve never had an ICON series outfit in any of the previous Battle Passes. It’s likely we’ll see him available in the item shop within the first month of Fortnite chapter 4 season 1.

Mr Beast Fortnite Skin

We’ll have to wait and see when Mr Beast comes to Fortnite but we do know he’ll be coming to the Fortnite universe at some point. Let us know in the comments section below if you’ll be purchasing the outfit once it’s available.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Map Leaked, Hulk, Geralt The Witcher, Doom Slayer Skins in Season 1

The Fortnite chapter 4 map has been leaked along with some upcoming collaborations in season 1 including Geralt from The Witcher, The Hulk, and Doom Slayer skins.

It’s been just under a year since the launch of Fortnite chapter 3. When the new chapter launched in December 2021, players didn’t expect for it to end for at least a year and a half.

However, with season 4 drawing to a close, chapter three will be coming to an end as well. A few weeks after the season launched back in September, there were rumors this would be the final season of the chapter.

However, it wasn’t a rumor that gained any traction within the Fortnite community based on the fact that we were only four seasons into the chapter with the other two chapters having at least eight seasons.

However, some of the cosmetics that started releasing over six weeks ago hinted towards the end of the chapter, just as Epic did when chapter two was coming to a close.

Just over two weeks ago, Epic Games confirmed that season four would be the final season of the chapter when they released an image for the Fracture live event.

The live event is set to take place in just over an hour. However, the event was decrypted a few hours ago which means data miners are able to leak what happens during the event.

That has led to the Fortnite chapter 4 map being leaked along with upcoming collaborations including some of the skins we’ll see either in the Battle Pass or in the item shop in Chapter 4 Season 1.

Below, we’ve posted the images of the upcoming collaborations along with the Fortnite chapter 4 season 1 map. It goes without saying but HUGE SPOILERS BELOW.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Map Leak For Season 1

Whilst we don’t know exactly what’s going to take place during the event, data miners have started posting some images that are shown during the Fracture Fortnite live event.

It looks like at some point during the event, likely the end, Epic Games will showcase an overview of the Fortnite chapter 4 map that data miners have leaked on Twitter.

Here’s what the chapter 4 season 1 map will look like:

Fortnite Chapter 4 Map Leak

This is as good as we’re going to get until the Fortnite chapter 4 files are available to download. It gives us a good idea of how the map is laid out. However, players will be waiting for the full map to leak during downtime.

The Hulk, The Witcher (Geralt), and Doom Slayer Chapter 4 Season 1 Fortnite Skins Leaked

During the event, it looks like Epic will showcase some of the Fortnite chapter 4 season 1 skins that’ll be available. We don’t know which ones will be in the Battle Pass if any but we do know The Hulk, Geralt from The Witcher, and Doom Slayer will be available in Fortnite chapter 4.

Here’s a look at what the skins will look like:

We’ll be posting all of the latest Fortnite news, leaks, patch notes, and more during downtime and after the event. Be sure to keep checking this page for all the latest. If you need help finding the Fortnite coordinates, check out our guide HERE.

When is the Fortnite Live Event – Fracture Chapter 4 Time & Countdown

Here’s all the information you need ahead of the Fortnite chapter 3 finale event including the time it’ll take place in each timezone, downtime for chapter 4, and more.

Update: We’ve updated this article at the bottom with a link to chapter 4 leaks.

It’s almost been three months since Fortnite chapter 3 season 4 launched. The reaction to the season was mixed at the start but over the past couple of weeks, players have picked their best season in chapter three.

For the most part, it seems like the majority of the fan base rank this season as the second-best of the chapter. However, the rankings in this chapter don’t account for much considering there will be only be four seasons.

There were rumors a few weeks after season four launched that this would be the final one of chapter three. However, due to the fact that it meant there would only be four seasons in an entire chapter, the rumor was disregarded.

On November 13th however, Epic Games confirmed that season four would be the final season in chapter three when they released an image officially confirming the Fortnite Fracture live event.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Event

More than a week later, Epic Games released a blog post containing more information on the Fortnite Fracture live event including how to play, the time and date of the event, and more.

Since then, we’ve had numerous event teasers that have been posted. In total, we’ve had four teaser images. However, teaser images for previous Fortnite live events have provided us with more information. This time around, we’ve had images of a character in space accompanied by text.

If you haven’t seen all the teaser images yet, we’ve included them below along with the text:

Oh, the bittersweet feeling of the world crumbling beneath you.

A brighter day lives just on the horizon. Enjoy Paradise while it lasts.

All that glitters has consumed the ground you walk on. What now?

A spark turns to flame and before you know it, everything’s but ash and dust.

Two days ago, Epic Games released a teaser video that showcases what players can expect during the event. At one point in the teaser image, players can see The Herald in a tornado. If you haven’t seen the teaser video yet, we’ve included the YouTube embed below.

The Fortnite chapter 4 Fracture live event takes place today and players want to confirm when it’ll take place, how to play, and more. Here’s all the information you need to prepare for the chapter-ending event.

Fortnite New Update Today 22.40 – 3.73 Early Patch Notes, Servers Down Time, Download File Size – 15 November 2022

Epic Games have announced the release date and time for the final Fortnite update on chapter 3 season 4, v22.40. Here are the early patch notes for the 3.73 release.

It’s been two weeks since Epic Games released the last major Fortnite update. The 22.30 patch introduced Skywalker week which saw the return of previously released Star Wars in-game items.

Lightsabers, the E-11 Blaster Rifle, Pulse Rifle, and Junk Rift were unvaulted for the week along with the Darth Vader mythic boss returning to the map.

Players were also finally able to get their hands on the free Chrome Punk skin with the quests unlocking with the release of the 22.30 update. Players have until January 1st to complete the challenges.

Two days ago, Epic Games also confirmed that there would be a live event to end the season. No blog post was released for the announcement, but an image was posted on all the official Fortnite social media accounts.

The live event is named “Fracture” and confirms a leak that suggested season four will be the final season of the chapter. The image announcing the fracture event states that it’s the chapter three finale event.

It’ll take place on December 3rd at 4 PM ET and although not confirmed, the event’s conclusion will likely result in the servers being down for more than a day.

Before the chapter 3 finale event takes place, we have the final major Fortnite update of the chapter to look forward to, 22.40 (3.73). The 3.73 update goes live today, November 15th, 2022.

Thanks to data miners, we know some of the content that’ll be added in today’s release. Here are the early patch notes for the v22.40 update along with information on when the servers will go down for scheduled maintenance.

Fortnite Scheduled Server Maintenance Downtime – November 15, 2022

Prior to the release of a major update, Epic Games announced when the servers will go down for scheduled maintenance along with a hint as to what players can expect with the new release.

The 3.73 update will require server downtime with the Fortnite servers scheduled to be taken offline for maintenance at 4 AM ET / 9 AM GMT.

Prior to season four, Epic would announce when matchmaking would be disabled but have recently stopped doing this. Now, Epic will simply state that matchmaking will be disabled shortly before the servers are scheduled to go down.

However, we’d recommend not joining a game after 3:30 AM ET to ensure you’re not kicked out of your game.

Here’s the official tweet announcing the v22.40 Fortnite update.

When Will the Fortnite Servers Be Back Up Online?

Epic Games never mention when the servers will be back online. The v22.40 release is larger than some of the updates we’ve seen this season.

We’d expect the servers to be down for just over two hours. That means the servers should be back online at approximately 6 AM ET / 11 AM GMT.

We’ll update this post when the servers are back online so be sure to check back periodically.

Early 3.73 v22.40 Fortnite Update Patch Notes – 15th November 2022

Epic released a video on social media teasing the release of Rocky League cars on the Fortnite Battle Royale map. The Rocket League x Fortnite trailer has been released early.

We don’t know how players can obtain these rewards but they’ll likely be unlockable once a certain number of quests have been completed. We’ll be providing more information on the latest collaboration during downtime.

With Epic confirming the chapter-ending event, we should see event files being added to the game. We’ll also get to see the chapter 4 season 1 starter pack along with new weekly quests, new cosmetics, and information on next week’s item unvaulting.

We’ll be covering all the latest news and leaks from the v22.40 (3.73) update, so be sure to check out this page during downtime.
