Successfully Logged Out Fortnite Login Error – Keep Logging Out

Players are reporting login issues on Fortnite with many seeing the “successfully logged out” message on the loading screen on January 18th, 2023.

It’s been over a month since Epic Games released their last major Fortnite update. The last patch, v23.10, introduced the Christmas Winterfest event as well as some collaborations.

Since that update, we’ve only had a couple of minor content updates along with an update last week that didn’t include anything new to the game but fixed and reenabled the Shockwave Hammer.

Players were expecting the new update, v23.20, to be released on Tuesday. However, there was no announcement for the 23.20 release yesterday.

v23.20 introduces the Falcon Scout item that allows players to control a mechanical falcon to pick up loot, mark opponents for you and your squad, pick up downed teammates, and more.

Fortnite Keeps Logging Me Out

There are also a number of new Reality Augments/Perks that have been added today including the Rarity Check perk that allows players to get Siphon upon eliminations with common and uncommon items.

A couple of hours ago, the servers went down for scheduled maintenance. They were brought back online over an hour ago but players are reporting login issues.

Here’s everything you need to know about constantly being logged out on Fortnite and the “successfully logged out” message.

How to fix Successfully Logged Out Error – January 18th, 2022

There have been a substantial amount of players reporting the “successfully logged out” error message on social media.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do to fix the logging out issue on Fortnite, we’ll have to wait for Epic Games to provide a fix.

However, Epic Games recently put out a tweet on the Fortnite Status Twitter account stating that they’re looking into the successfully logged-out error message.

We’ll update this article when the issue has been resolved.

Fortnite 23.20 Update Today 3.77 Patch Notes, Server Downtime, File Size – January 18th 2023

Epic Games has just announced the next new Fortnite update releasing later today, 23.20 (3.77). Here are the early patch notes for the 18th January 2023 update.

It’s been a while since we had our last major Fortnite update. The last patch release, v23.10, was released more than a month ago.

The update introduced the 2022 Christmas Winterfest event which included the unvaulting of several winter-themed items.

Although we haven’t had a major release in some time, there has been plenty of content over the past month including the Mr. Beast challenge tournament, the release of the My Hero Academia and Giannis AAntetokounmpo collaborations, and more.

We’ve also seen the Heavy Shotgun being unvaulted in a small content update for some reason along with the release of the Guardian Shield and the first midseason drop being released.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait long until the next major Fortnite update with Epic Games announcing that the v23.20 (3.77) patch update will be released today.

Here’s everything you need to know including what content to expect, when the servers will go down for scheduled maintenance, and more.

Fortnite Servers Downtime – Are the Servers Down on January 18, 2023?

Every major Fortnite update that’s released includes server downtime and the 23.20 (3.77) patch release is no different.

Epic Games have stated that the servers will go down for scheduled maintenance at 4 AM ET / 9 AM GMT.

Fortnite Update 3.77 v23.20 Downtime

Epic never releases any information in regard to how long the servers will be down. However, we’d expect them to be down for 2 hours meaning the Fortnite servers should be back online at roughly 6 AM ET / 11 AM GMT on January 17th, 2023.

We’ll update this when they’re officially back up.

23.30 Fortnite Download File Size

We’ll update this with the download file size of the 23.30 release for each platform as soon as it’s available.

Fortnite Update Patch Notes 3.77 – January 18th, 2023

Data miners release information in regard to what players can expect to see in terms of new content before a new release drops.

Thanks to ShiinaBR, we know some of the content to expect in the 3.77 update. A previous leak suggested a Dead Space x Fortnite collaboration would be coming soon. If correct, we should see the latest crossover in the 23.30 files.

Fortnite Update Patch Notes January 17 2023

A Rift Warden Stellan skin should be added to the files along with the Crew skin for February 2023. As usual, we’ll see the next two weeks of quests being leaked along with the Doom Slayer Midseason Drop.

We should see content being leaked for next week’s hotfix update along with some concert items and the possibility of more information on the Kid Laroi concert.

The Falcon Scout item will be added to the game I’m the 23.20 (3.77) Fortnite update.

Fortnite Shockwave Hammer Removed Due to Glitch – Return Date

Players are wondering if Epic Games removed the Shockwave Hammer from Fortnite or whether it’s still in the game. Here are all of your questions answered.

It’s been over a month since Epic Games released Fortnite chapter 4 season 1. Along with a new map and new features, there were massive changes to the loot pool.

There were a number of new items added to the game in chapter 4 along with the return of items from previous seasons, the most recent being the Heavy Shotgun.

However, the most popular addition to Fortnite chapter 4 season 1 is the Shockwave hammer for multiple reasons.

The Fortnite Shockwave Hammer is a utility item that allows players to deal damage upon impact to an opponent.

The secondary fire button allows players to use the hammer to bounce off the ground into the aim with no fall damage when players return to the ground.

Players can press the button repeatedly in order to keep traveling at the expense of one charge per bounce with a total of four bounces available.

Here are the stats of the hammer for those unaware:

The item has been removed from the game at least once in the past due to an issue. Players are now wondering if the hammer is still in Fortnite. Here’s everything you need to know.

Shockwave Hammer Glitch

When there’s a glitch with an item, players take advantage in order to gain an unfair advance. There’s a glitch with the Shockwave Hammer that provides players with an infinite amount of bounces.

Here’s the glitch in action:

Did Fortnite Remove The Shockwave Hammer

Yes, Epic Games did remove the Fortnite Shockwave Hammer for Fortnite due to the glitch that’s mentioned above.

Usually, Epic doesn’t mention the issues or glitches when removing an item. This was the case with in the tweet on the Fortnite Status Twitter account announcing that the Shockwave Hammer was being removed from Fortnite temporarily.

However, Epic Games did mention in another tweet announcing downtime tomorrow that they’re deploying a patch addressing several issues including bouncing with the hammer more often than intended.

Fortnite Guardian Shield – Where to find, How to Block Shocks, What Does it Do

There’s a new Fortnite item that has been added to the loot pool with today’s 23.10 hotfix update, the Guardian Shield. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

It’s been a while since we had a new major Fortnite update. On December 13th, 2022, Epic Games released the 23.10 Fortnite update.

With Epic employees on an extended breaking during the festive holidays, there hasn’t been anything new releasing for Fortnite Battle Royale.

However, last week on Tuesday, Epic did shake up the Chapter 4 Season 1 loot pool a little bit with the Heavy Shotgun being unvaulted.

Is the Heavy Shotgun Back in Fortnite December 27 2022

With the Fortnite Christmas event concluding today, there was always a high possibility that Epic would be adding in new content, and that they did.

Epic Games released a blog post announcing that they’ve released the 23.10 BR hotfix update that includes a new item being added to the loot pool along with midseason drops.

The Midseason drops are new skin styles for the outfits in the Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass. This week, the Serene Midseason Drop alt style is available with more to come in the following weeks.

The item that has been added to the loot pool today is the previously teased Fortnite Guardian Shield. Epic provided a couple of glimpses of the shield in the gameplay trailer for Chapter 4 Season 1.

Here’s everything you need to know about Guardian Shields in Fortnite including the locations where you can find them, what they do, and more.

How to Get a Guardian Shield in Fortnite Locations

The only way to get a Fortnite Guardian Shield is by finding and searching Oathbound Chests. There are the rare chests that were added to the game with the release of the new chapter.

They’re fairly hard to find and even if you did, you’re not guaranteed to get a shield from the chests making the item fairly rare.

Oathbound Chest Fortnite

The best location to find a Guardian Shield in Fortnite would be at The Citadel. The reason is the fact that there are four Oathbound Chest spawn locations there.

Thanks to the popular Fortnite site, Fortnite.gg, we have a map of all the possible spawn locations to find and search Oathbound Chests in Fortnite to help you get a Guardian Shield much faster.

Guardian Shield Fortnite Location Where to Find

With the release of the new item, it’s likely you’ll run into a fair few players dropping at the locations that are home to the most spawns for the rare chests.

The alternative option is always being lucky and eliminating an opponent that already managed to get their hands on the new shield item.

How to Block Shots With Guardian Shield in Fortnite

The shield could be a fairly strong item and could easily end up as a meta item. In order to block shocks with the Guardian Shield, players simply need to have it equipped and then simply hold down whatever the shoot button is for them.

For PlayStation users, that’ll be the R2 trigger unless you’re using a custom controller setup. Either way, use the shoot button to deploy and block shots with the shield.

You can also throw the shield in order to place it on the floor which could be useful if you’re reviving your teammate from the downed state.

Block Shots Guardian Shield Fortnite What Does it Do

When an opponent starts shooting at your, the Guardian Shield will block the shots and save you from receiving any damage.

Remember, the shield doesn’t last forever, so keep a close eye on the color of the shield, an indication of when the shield is about to expire.

Is the Heavy Shotgun Back in Fortnite December 27 2022

We’re not expecting a major new Fortnite update to release until next week. However, iFireMonkey, a popular data miner, has stated that there’s a chance we won’t get a major release until the 13th of January.

However, Epic Games has just released the v23.10 hotfix update with some new content. As this is a hotfix update, there’s no need to download new files.

Here’s what’s new or changed in the January 3, 2023 update.

New Fortnite Update Patch Notes – 3 January 2023

The Guardian Shield has entered the Fortnite loot pool. The item was teased in the gameplay trailer when the new chapter and season launched at the start of December.

The shield deploys a protective barrier in front of you that will block incoming damage. The shield can be raised as a mobile cover when you’re on the move.

Fortnite January 3 2023 Update Patch Notes

There’s a certain limit to the shield, so keep a close eye on the color of the shield that’ll indicate when the cover it about to run out.

Midseason drops are now available. They’re new additions to this season that are obtainable alt styles for the Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass skins.

Starting this week, players that earn ten account levels can get their hands on a fresh look for the Selene chapter 3 Battle Pass skin.

In the following four weeks, Epic Games will release the Midseason drop alt styles for the following skins:

  • Massai
  • Doom Slayer
  • Dusty
  • Nezumi

You can view the midseason drops in the Midseason Drops section of the Battle Pass tab.

When is Fortnite New Year’s 2023 Event Time

Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite New Years 2023 event including the time it’ll take place.

It’s been a few weeks since Epic Games released a new chapter and season of Fortnite Battle Royale. This month has brought a lot of events and collaborations for players to enjoy to finish off the year.

The My Hero Academia collaboration went down well with the player base with a new mythic item, challenges, and cosmetics available to purchase from the Fortnite Item Shop.

Last week, the Giannis Antetokounmpo x Fortnite collaboration went live which included a number of different edit styles to choose from along with a back bling, pickaxe, glider, wrap, and an emote.

The Fortnite Christmas Winterfest event is still running with it scheduled to end on January 3rd, 2022. Along with the challenges that provide players with XP, fourteen presents are available to open.

Included in those presents are two skins, two gliders, two wraps, three lobby tracks, three sprays, a back bling, a pickaxe, a contrail, emote, and an emoticon.

If you haven’t opened all of your presents yet, you’ll have until the event ends to do so. Those of you on PC, you can grab an additional Guff skin for free from the item shop.

Epic Games close out the year with a Fortnite New Years’ event and that’ll be no different for 2023. Here’s everything you need to know about the mini-event.

New Year's Event Fortnite

Fortnite New Years Event 2023 Start Time

The Fortnite New Years 2023 event has already started. Like previous years, the New Year’s Fortnite event begins when it hits 2023 in Australia.

The mini New Year’s Fortnite event takes place every hour and forces players to put away their items and dance until the event concluded.

A rift appears in the sky with a disco ball appearing before you’re forced to dance. It’s important to remember this when engaging in a fight when it hits a new hour.

There’ll also be fireworks that’ll show “2023” before quickly disappearing.

Fortnite Update Today – Is The Heavy Shotgun Back in Fortnite? December 27 2022 Patch Notes

There’s a new Fortnite content update today. Here are the patch notes for the December 27th, 2022 server-side release.

It’s been two weeks since Epic Games announced and released the Fortnite Christmas event for the year, Winterfest.

The Christmas event is scheduled to end on January 3rd, 2023, which means players have a week to complete the challenges and open all of the presents.

The presents include two free skins, pickaxes, gliders, emotes, wraps, and more. The first skin, Guffy, was available to unlock by opening the present the outfit is hugging in the Lodge.

Since the release of the Winterfest event two weeks ago, there hasn’t been any Fortnite update which was to be expected given Epic Games employees are off until January.

All Winterfest 2022 Fortnite Presents Rewards and Quests Challenges

However, today, Epic Games have released a small content update. Here’s the only change that was made in today’s December 27th, 2022 patch release.

Heavy Shotgun Returns – Fortnite Update Patch Notes December 27th, 2022

The Heavy Shotgun had some changes made to it in the v23.00 Fortnite update when the new chapter was released.

However, it wasn’t added back to the game leaving players wondering whether the Heavy Shotgun would be added back in Fortnite in the near future.

Heavy Shotgun Return from Vault Fortnite

In today’s 27th December 2022 update, the Heavy Shotgun has been added back to Fortnite. Here’s the description for the item:

Exceptionally reliable and consistent, break out the Heavy Shotgun to fire a single slug over longer-range. Perfect for closing the gap or responding to an incoming threat!

Is the Heavy Shotgun Back in Fortnite December 27 2022

With a solid choice of shotguns to choose from already, it’ll be interesting to see how it stacks up to the two new shotguns.

We’ll likely see the Heavy Shotgun in the game until at least the end of the season. However, if the return of the heavy shotgun goes down well with the player base, it could be in the loot pool for some time.
