There’s a new “This Week” challenge that requires players to travel distance using Kinetic Ore. Here’s what it is, the locations where you can find it, and more.

The Fortnite Christmas Winterfest 2022 event is still going on. Players have been able to get their hands on free cosmetics from the Winterfest Lodge.

In total, there are seventeen free cosmetics available, two of which are skins. The first skin, Guff, was made available to unlock on Christmas day.

The challenges for the event are available until January 3rd, 2022. The presents are available to open until that date too.

Along with the Winterfest challenges, we also have our normal weekly challenges releasing. Today, there was a new challenge that went live.

The best spot to find and get Kinetic Ore in Fortnite is Shattered Slabs. Here’s the location marked on the map:

How to Travel Distance Using Kinetic Ore

Once you’ve hit the Kinetic Ore enough times, you’ll a purple beam emitting from it as shown below:

Simply jump into the beam and you’ll travel across the other side of the location. Once you’ve done this you’ll have completed the challenge.
