Fortnite New Update Chapter 4: OG v27.00 (4.05) Patch Notes – November 3rd 2023

Here are the early patch notes for Fortnite Chapter 4: OG which is the v27.00 (4.05) update releasing on 3 November 2023.

We’re hours away from the launch of Fortnite Chapter 4: OG. With the new season set to be the last of the chapter, the current map will no longer be available.

We’ve known for a few weeks that we’ll be returning to the Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 map. However, it was confirmed a few days ago when Epic Games confirmed it with the below image being posted on social media.

For the past two days, we’ve been getting teasers to provide players with a glimpse of what to expect from Fortnite: OG.

We know most if not all of the OG items will be returning to the game including hoverboards, ballers, the OG Pump and Scar, planes, and much more.

We’ll be starting the season on the Chapter 1 Season 5 map, and it’ll likely change each week until the season ends.

If leaks are correct, the season will end on December 3rd, making this a month-long season, the shortest we’ve ever had.

Although we knew what to expect from the Fortnite v27.00 (4.05) update from the teasers and trailers, Epic accidentally pushed the update live to Android users.

From the files and the screenshots taken by Android players before Epic fixed their mistakes, we know exactly what we can expect from the v27.00 4.05 Fortnite update, and we’ve created our own patch notes below.

Fortnite v27.00 (4.05) Update Patch Notes – 3 November 2023 (11/3/23)

OG Fortnite Map

As expected, we’ll be moving away from the Chapter 4 map back and back to the Chapter 1 map. In the first week, we’ll be playing on the season 5 map.

These are the locations that’ll be on the week 1 map as well as an overview of the map:

  • Junk Junction
  • Haunted Hills
  • Pleasant Park
  • Loot Lake
  • Lazy Links
  • Risky Reels
  • Wailing Woods
  • Tomato Temple
  • Lonely Lodge
  • Retail Row
  • Dusty Divot

  • Salty Springs
  • Titled Towers
  • Greasy Grove
  • Snobby Shores
  • Flush Factory
  • Lucky Landing
  • Fatal Fields
  • Shifty Shafts
  • Salty Springs
  • Paradise Palms

Fortnite OG Map Week 1

We’ve seen leaks of different versions of the map including the season 7 map with Polar Peak. That means, as leaks suggested, we’ll be rotating through the Chapter 1 map, likely from season 5 to season X.

Returning Items

Again, we know most of the items that’ll be returning thanks to the teasers Epic released along with the leaks we’ve seen over the past few days.

However, these are all items we know will be returning next season, even if it’s not available in the first week of the season.

  • Bolt Action Sniper
  • Heavy Sniper
  • Suppressed Sniper
  • Standard Sniper
  • Drum Shotgun
  • Tactical Shotgun
  • Pump Shotgun (the Mark 2 Variant also exists)
  • Double-Barreled Shotgun
  • Burst Assault Rifle
  • Assault Rifle
  • Hunting Rifle

  • SCAR
  • LMG
  • Baller
  • Hoverboard
  • Planes
  • Karts
  • Shopping Carts
  • Supply Drops
  • All Traps

We also know sliding, sprinting, and mantling will remain in the game for Fortnite: OG. However, there’s a chance that Augments won’t be available in the new season.

Data miners did mention that the Mud Thermal, Splash Party, and Fire Armory augments were updated, but there aren’t any new augments that have been added, nor have any of the other augments had any changes made.

OG Battle Pass

All of the Fortnite Chapter 4 v27.00 (4.05) OG Battle Pass skins are different skins merged together.

It seems as though there are only four Battle Pass skins in the Fortnite: OG Season which are listed below:

  • Renegade Lynx
  • Omegarok
  • Lil Split
  • Spectra Knight
  • Raven Team Leader (?)

Fortnite v27.00 4.05 Update OG Battle Pass November 3 2023

Although the Battle Pass has fewer cosmetics than previous seasons due to the length of the season, leaks suggest it’ll be the normal price of 950 V-Bucks.

However, it looks like the OG Fortnite Battle Pass is available for free for Fortnite Crew subscribers, so now would be a good time to subscribe if that’s the case.

What Else is New In Fortnite’s 4.05 v27.00 New Update

Apart from the above information, we know Battle Stars will be returning, and a few other items not mentioned above.

We’ll update this article with the full patch notes below once they’ve been released. Update: Official patch notes below for today’s v27.11 (4.05) Fortnite update:

OG Fortnite Map Week 1 Leaked – Coming Back Release Date

The OG Fortnite map has been leaked after a mistake from Epic Games. Here’s everything you need to know including the release date.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is almost over, and Fortnite Chapter 4: OG is almost here. It looks like the new season isn’t considered an actual season.

With Chapter 5 expected to launch after Fortnite Chapter 4: OG concludes, that means season 4 was the final official season of Chapter 4.

While players are getting excited at the thought of landing on the OG Fortnite map, Epic probably got a little too excited and accidentally pushed the new season live on Android.

Some players downloaded the 7 GB update and took screenshots of the new season. All of the leaks we’ve seen of the Battle Pass and the OG map that was leaked yesterday have been confirmed as true.

Thanks to data miners and the screenshots from the Android users who downloaded and jumped into the new season early, we know what to expect from the OG Fortnite map from day one.

Fortnite OG Map Leaked

With Android players downloaded and accessing the new season, they were able to view the map from the Lobby.

Thankfully, players posted the Fortnite Chapter 4: OG Map on social media which we’ve included below.

Here are all the named locations that’ll be on the map from day one:

  • Junk Junction

  • Titled Towers
  • Greasy Grove
  • Snobby Shores

We know that each week, we will get a new version of the OG Fortnite map. That explains why the other leaks of the map we’ve seen include other named locations not seen on the map above.

It’s likely we’ll see the likes of Polar Peak, Happy Hamlet, and other Named locations make their way onto the map as we progress into the new season.

Fortnite OG Map Return Release Date

The OG Fortnite map release date is tomorrow, November 3rd, 2023.

When is the Fortnite Live Event Today – November 1/2/3 2023 Chapter 4: OG Season 5

Epic Games has confirmed the name for the next season of Fortnite and provided teasers to provide insight into what players can expect. Players are wondering if there will be a Fortnite live event in the lead-up to Chapter 4 Season 5 on November 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.

We’re less than 48 hours away from the launch of a brand new season of Fortnite Battle Royale. As expected, Epic Games has been releasing teasers in the lead-up to the launch of Fortnite: OG (chapter 4 season 5).

A few weeks ago, the theme for the new season was leaked. However, much of the player base found it hard to believe the leaks. However, Epic confirmed that the theme for Chapter 4 Season 5 would be “OG”, returning players to Chapter 1.

As part of going back to Chapter 1, the Chapter 1 Season 5 map will be returning along with a handful of items that were available in the first chapter of the popular Battle Royale game.

Popular items including the baller, hoverboard, supply drops, LMG, OG Pump, OG Scar, OG AR, traps, and other items will be returning from the vault.

We’ve also had a look at what the Battle Pass skins will be for the Fortnite: OG season. All of the skins are remixes of chapter 1 skins. Black Knight looks like it has been merged with Sentinel and the Ice King. Ragnarok looks like it’s been merged with Omega, and Lil Whip has been mixed in with Peely.

We’ll have a full leak of the Fortnite OG Battle Pass which we’ll link here once it’s been published.

Although it’s not hard to find an overview of the Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 map, leakers have confirmed what the map will look like and it includes the likes of Tilted Towers, Retail Row, Lucky Landing, Shifty Shafts, and more.

More recently, Epic Games released a short trailer on Twitter that showcases some of the Battle Pass skins, and provides a link to the premier for Fortnite Chapter 4: Season OG.

Although players are excited by the release of the new season, they’re also wondering if there will be a Fortnite Live event, and if so, what time it will be.

Here’s everything we know about a Fortnite Live Event For November 1st – November 3rd, 2023.

Is There A Fortnite Live Event Today (November 1st/2nd 2023)?

In Chapter 1, Epic Games would have a live event to conclude every season. However, the amount of Fortnite live events has decreased over the past couple of years.

There has been no official announcement of a live event today which means it’s almost certain there will be no live event on November 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.

What time is the Fortnite Live Event on 1/2/3 November 2023?

There have been no leaks of a Fortnite live event. However, there have been leaks that suggest that Fortnite Chapter 4: Season OG will conclude with a live event that will lead to extended downtime and then launch into Chapter 5.

To Confirm, Unfortunately, there will be no Fortnite live event on November 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. With that said, we should expect a bunch of new content with the release of the new season.

Hopefully, the leaks regarding a Fortnite Live Event to launch into Chapter 5 are true.

Update: Here’s a look at the latest video teaser showcasing some of the locations

The Fortnite OG Pump Shotgun is Returning (and Maybe the Double Pump Too)

Fortnite leakers have confirmed that the OG Pump Shotgun is returning when Fortnite: OG launches in two days.

We’re just two days away from the launch of a new Fortnite season; Chapter 4 Season 5. Epic has already confirmed we’ll be going back to Chapter 1.

We’ve seen five teasers for the new season release, all of which have confirmed the return of items including the baller, certain items, and a glimpse at some of the Battle Pass skins.

One of the latest teasers confirms the return of a popular weapon model; the OG pump shotgun.

Over the past couple of chapters, we’ve seen Epic release a variety of different shotguns, some of which have been pump shotguns. However, players have been waiting for the return of the OG Pump Shotgun.

Here’s a look at the stats of the popular Fortnite item along with the teaser that confirms the return of the item next season.

OG Pump Shotgun is Returning to Fortnite in “OG” Chapter 4 Season 5

Epic released a new teaser for Fortnite OG late last night which included part of the OG Shotgun along with the OG model of the popular SCAR.

The weapon was first introduced in the v1.6 update in both common and uncommon varieties. It’s had multiple buffs and nerfs including changes to the damage fall off.

Here’s a look at the stats for the common, uncommon, and rare versions of the OG Fortnite pump shotgun prior to it being removed.

Is Double Pump Shotgun Coming Back to Fortnite?

With the return of the OG Pump Shotgun, there’s a chance we could see the Double Pump Shotgun meta return to the game, although this has not been confirmed.

Double pumping was a popular strategy in Fortnite Battle Royale, where players would pick up two pump shotguns and immediately switch between each one when one of them was fired.

This would bypass the slow rate of fire the item was intended to have, and become infamous among the player base, but was patched in season 3, and once again in season 5.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 OG Battle Pass Skins – New Black Knight, Raven, Ragnarok, Omega

Epic Games has been releasing teasers for Fortnite “OG” Chapter 4 Season 5, and we have a glimpse of the skins including a new version of the Black Knight skin.

We’re just three days away from the release of a new season; Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5. We already know that the season will be called “Fortnite OG” with the Chapter 1 Season 5 map returning.

Epic confirmed we would be returning to the Chapter 1 map four days ago with a tweet that has amassed offer 200,000 likes and 33 million views.

Fortnite OG Season

Players have been waiting for Epic to release teasers for Fortnite “OG” Chapter 4 Season 5 and today, we saw our first batch of teaser images that have provided a glimpse of the skins we can expect to see in the Fortnite “OG” Chapter 4 Season 5.

Here’s a look at all the information and teasers we have on the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 Battle Pass.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 “OG Chapter 1” Battle Pass Skins Leaks

We’ve had a total of five teaser images posted today for the return of the Fortnite Chapter 1 map and loot pool, some of which include parts of the Battle Pass skins for the new season.

In the teaser below, we can see a Peely skin along with Raven and the top of a Ragnarok head.

The Black Knight skin (included below) is a Legendary skin that was available in the season two Battle pass at tier 40. It’s one of the rarest skins in the game with many players asking Epic to add it to the item store.

Black Knight Fortnite

With Epic remixing and merging Chapter 1 skins together, it made sense for them to bring back a remix version of Black Knight in the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 Battle Pass.

The teaser images we’ve seen so far suggest Black Knight will be mixed with the Ice King and Sentinel chapter 1 skins. Here’s a look at the three teaser images that feature the Black Knight Fortnite skin.

We should plenty more Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 “OG” teasers released over the next couple of days in the lead-up to the new season providing us with more insight into what we can expect in the return to Chapter 1.

There’s still plenty to cover from the teasers, and we’ll have a breakdown of some of the Loot Pool items returning in the new season.

Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 OG Old Map Return Date – Rewind Teaser Image

It looks like we’ll be going to the “Old OG” Fortnite map with the return of the Chapter 1 Season 5 map in Chapter 4 Season 5.

We’re just over a week away from a new season of Fortnite Battle Royale; chapter 4 season 5. There have been rumors regarding the new season of Fortnite for some time now.

Originally, popular Fortnite leakers who were getting information from an Epic Games insider stated that chapter 4 season 5 would be a month long, and would be a Lego-themed season.

However, a few weeks ago, this was confirmed to be axed. That said, the rumor of the new season only being a month-long season still remained.

Recently, leakers stated that we could be going back to the old OG Fortnite map, more specifically, Chapter 1 Season 5, which would again only be for a month before the launch of Chapter 5 at the start of December.

On October 10th, popular leaker Hypex tweeted some information regarding the old OG Fortnite map returning. Here’s everything we know about the leaks.

Old OG Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 Map Return Leaks

Hypex stated that due to the time machine on the current map breaking, we’ll cycle through the chapter 1 seasons including season 5 with the return of the old OG Fortnite map.

Alongside constant map changes, we’ll be getting loot pool changes with all the OG items making a return. Although the information was from a reliable source, many were still skeptical.

However, we’ve seen teasers being added by Epic Games over the past week. Some creators received a disc with the outline of the Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 map as seen below.

When is the Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 Old OG Map Returning

Fortnite then changed their Twitter location to “July 12th, 2018”. At the same time, propers from Frenzy Fields began appearing on the current map.

Fortnite chapter 1 season 5 map

Epic then sent certain content creators the Fortnite chapter 1 OST lobby music, another hint that the leaks are correct.

Yesterday, Epic added the Fortnite Chapter 1 sky as a billboard in-game to further confirm that next season, we’ll be going back to the OG Fortnite Chapter 1 map.

With the current season of Fortnite expected to end on November 3rd, we’d expect Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 to launch with the Chapter 1 Season 5 map on either November 3rd or November 4th 2023.

However, we’ll likely have full confirmation either tomorrow or on Monday, 30th October.

New Fortnite Update v25.30 3.98 Patch Notes & Server Downtime – 8th August 2023 (8/8/23)

A new Fortnite update, v25.30 (3.98) will go live today on 8th August 2023. Here are the early patch notes for the update as well as information on scheduled downtime.

It’s been a couple of weeks since Epic Games released the last new major Fortnite update. The 25.20 update introduced the Futurama x Fortnite collaboration.

The collaboration included numerous outfits and other cosmetics that are available to purchase from the Fortnite Item Shop.

Bender’s Raygun was also added as well as Bender himself as a boss that’ll drop the weapon once eliminating him.

The Mammoth pistol was also added to the game in the v25.20 update as well as a couple of Reality Augments including one for pistols.

Last week, Epic released a hotfix update that unvaulted the Grapple Glove. There were no changes to the Grapple Glove and will likely remain in the game until the new season releases in a few weeks.

Grapple Glove Unvaulted

The Reboot Valley event also went live along with the Galaxy Cup 3 which was available to participate in on the weekend which provided players with the chance to earn the new Fortnite Galaxy skin.

A downloadable update was also released last week that addressed stability issues as well as an issue that affected loading times on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

With Fortnite chapter 4 season 4 just a few weeks ago, Epic Games are looking to close out the season with a couple more updates.

The v25.30 (3.98) Fortnite update is the new update that’ll go live today. Here are the early patch notes for the update including information on server downtime.

Fortnite Scheduled Server Downtime & When the Servers Will Be Back Online – August 8th, 2023

As with any major release, the 3.98 Fortnite update will require the servers to go offline. Epic Games announced when the servers will go down.

At 4 AM ET / 8 AM UTC / 9 AM BST / 10 AM CEST, the Fortnite servers will go down for scheduled maintenance for the v25.30 Fortnite update.

Matchmaking will be disabled thirty minutes prior to the servers going offline. Here’s the official tweet announcing the update time:

Fortnite 3.98 Update Server Downtime August 8 2023

As expected, there’s no information regarding how long the servers will be down. However, we’d expect the servers to remain down for a couple of hours.

That means we expect the servers to come back online on August 8th, 2023, at roughly 6 AM ET / 11 AM BST / 12 PM CEST.

Be sure to check back to this part of the article as we’ll update this section when the servers are back online.

v25.30 (3.98) Fortnite Update Patch Notes

Thanks to data miners, we usually know what to expect before a major Fortnite update drops, and the 3.98 v25.30 Fortnite update is no different.

Over a week ago, data miners leaked the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen skins that would be coming to the game. Not long later, Epic Games confirmed the collaboration with a teaser video.

As was the case for the last patch, the main focus of the v25.30 Fortnite update will be a collaboration. Apart from the skins, we don’t know if there will be a boss or NPC added to the map along with new weapons that’ll be part of the collaboration.

There’s a chance we’ll see a Fortnite Jujutsu Kaisen event pass with players able to purchase the premium tier to unlock better cosmetics.

With leaks regarding a WWE x Fortnite collaboration, the outfits for the crossover will likely be in the 3.98 files which means they’ll be leaked unless they’re encrypted.

If this is the final update of the season, expect the Fortnite chapter 4 season 4 starter pack to be leaked along with information on the new season.

New Fortnite Update Today 3.97 Patch Notes – 2nd August 2023 (8/2/23)

Epic Games has released a brand new Fortnite update today, 3.97). Here are the patch notes for the 2nd August 2023 release.

Every two weeks, Epic Games released a brand new Fortnite update that comes with a bunch of new content, although not as much as the updates we had in chapter one.

Between those updates, Epic will usually release a hotfix update that introduces a new item to the loot pool that was added to the files in the previous Fortnite update.

Last week, Epic released the v25.20 update. As has become the norm for new Fortnite updates, there wasn’t much in the way of new content, it was more focused on yet another collaboration.

The Futurama x Fortnite collaboration was teased over a week ago and officially made its way into the game last week.

Players can purchase the Bender, Fry, and Leela outfits from the item shop as well as take on Bender in-game to get their hands on Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun.

The Mammoth Pistol was also added to the game, a big and powerful weapon that deals high damage using heavy ammo requiring a reload after every shot.

The lever shotgun was also unvaulted and a couple of augment realities were added including one for pistols that provides a chance of pistol shots having a chance to cost zero ammo.

We also had a hotfix update yesterday with grapple gloves making a return to the game. The item allows players to travel around the map faster with the item having 30 swings before being unusable.

Grapple Glove Unvaulted

Epic also announced yesterday that the Reboot Rally event returns in August 2023. Players can earn free cosmetic rewards during the event.

The rewards are obtained by stacking up points which can be done by signing up for the event and parting up with returning friends.

Here are the rewards that are available during the event:

  • 50 points: Boot It Spray
  • 100 points: Polychrome Sunset Wrap
  • 150 points: Beach-Blasted Shark’s Tank Back Bling
  • 200 points: Starfall Pickaxe

Fortnite 3.97 Update Today Patch Notes – August 2, 2023

There have been numerous bugs that have plagued the game since the release of the v25.20 Fortnite update last week.

Although some of them have been addressed with a hotfix update, other bugs persisted.

One of the biggest issues has been the amount of time it takes to load into a match on several different console platforms.

In order to address this issue, Epic Games have released today’s new 3.97 Fortnite update. The update is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch.

Here’s the official Tweet (or x post?) from Epic Games:

Epic Games released a Fortnite hotfix update today on August 1st, 2023. Here are the patch notes for the update as well as information on a teased collaboration.

Although Epic Games don’t release anywhere near the amount of content they used to back in chapter one of Fortnite, we still get bi-weekly updates.

Between the major bi-weekly updates, Epic will release hotfix updates from time to time. These are smaller updates that will likely only bring in or unvault one item.

They don’t require players to download a new update and if it’s a new item that’s being released in the hotfix, that item would have been added to the files in the previous downloadable update.

With that said, Epic Games released a hotfix Fortnite update on August 1st, 2023. We also have confirmation of another collaboration coming next week.

Although it’s nothing major, Epic did unvault the Grapple Glove and add it back to the loot pool. The item was first added to the game in chapter 3 season 3.

Here are the stats of the Grapple Glove which remain unchanged:

Apart from the above, there were no other changes or additions to the game with today’s update. However, we did get confirmation on an upcoming collaboration.

Data miners leaked the next Fortnite Anime collaboration with the skins being leaked ahead of time. Epic then reacted by dropping the teaser trailer a week early.

A couple of days ago, all the popular data miners including Hypex leaked that the Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration would be coming.

The skins were leaked ahead of time thanks to Barbieharp on Twitter which can be seen below.

Fortnite then confirmed the collaboration by releasing a trailer to announce the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration.

It’s likely the trailer, which you can view below, was released early due to the collaboration being leaked by data miners.

Jujutsu Kaisen Fortnite Release Date

Epic Games confirmed the release date of the collaboration. The Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration will go live when the v25.30 update is released.

If there are no delays, the 25.30 update will be release on August 8th, 2023, which is when the collaboration will go live.
