Epic Games released the v25.10 Fortnite update today which includes the release of a brand new item, Cloak Gauntlets. Here’s where to find them as well as how and where to defeat the Wildguard Relik Mythic boss.
We have the first major Fortnite update of chapter four season three today, v25.10. The update introduces two new reality augments; Mud Warrior and SMG Extended Mag.
Mud Warrior will regenerate health and shield while in mud or covered in it, and SMG Extended Mag will increase the magazine size for any SMG you have in your inventory.
Shockwave Grenades were added back into the game today but only in Zero Build, findable from floor loot and chests.
The Cloak Gauntlets are a new item that has been added to the game in today’s update. Here’s everything you need to know about them including how they work and where to find them.
Fortnite Cloak Gauntlets
Cloak Gauntlets are made with reflective kinetic ore. They allow players to blend into their surroundings near-seamlessly.
They can be obtained from floor loot and chests but there’s a guaranteed way to get your hands on Cloak Gauntlets in Fortnite, but more on that later.
Whilst using the Gauntlets, players will not be able to attack opponents. However, you can end the cloaking early by unequipping them or swimming to another item in your inventory.
Where to find Cloak Gauntlets in Fortnite – Spawn Locations
There are no specific spawn locations for the Cloak Gauntlets. However, you have a better chance of finding them in locations that have a lot of chests.
You can also head to the hidden ruins vaults in order to have a better chance of finding them. There’s also a new mythic boss that once defeated, will drop a mythic version of the item, guaranteeing you obtaining them.
Wildguard Relik Mythic Boss Location – Mythic Cloak Gauntlets
Wildguard Relik is a new mythic boss that has been added in today’s v25.10 Fortnite update. Defeat the boss and you’ll obtain the WIldguard Relik’s Cloak Gauntlets.
The difference between the Wilguard Relik’s gauntlets and the normal one is the mythic version will allow you to cover yourself in kinetic ore for longer, with a shorter cooldown.
You can find and defeat Wildguard Relik at Rumble Ruins. You’ll usually find him wondering around the main buildings.
Whilst fighting, Wildguard Relik will teleport around the named location, so you’ll have to keep moving around looking for him. Because of this, the fight will usually take longer than other boss fights in Fortnite.
