The Fortnite servers are back online after they were down for scheduled maintenance in order to prepare them for today’s new Halloween event update, Fortnitemares 2022.

This year’s event includes the return of some previously released items including the Pumpkin Launcher and the Fortnitemares candy along with some new features and items.

As expected, we have a number of quests to complete this year in return for some cosmetic rewards. This year’s rewards include a glider, back bling, and a pickaxe.

Here’s a look at the cosmetic rewards for this year’s Fortnitemares challenges:

There will be two new quests released each day for the next fourteen days. The first set of quests are now available and one of them requires players to Dance on an Alteration Altar to get the Howler Claws.

What are Howler Claws in Fortnite

Howler Claws are the new Halloween-themed item that was added in today’s v22.20 update. When equipped, you can howl to activate the Wolfscent ability that’ll provide you with a tracking vision that will allow you to see where enemies have been.

There’s also a slash ability that allows you to perform a four-combo melee attack along with an air slash ability which is a double-jump that’ll damage opponents.

Where to Find and Dance on an Alteration Altar in Fortnite

In order to get the Howler Claws, you’ll need to step on one of the Reality Tree’s Alteration Altars. You’ll be given the option to perform the Ritual emote which once completed, you’ll receive the Howler Claws.

Once you find the Alteration Altar, you’ll see a box appear that’ll tell you to perform the ritual by emoting as shown below:

As soon as this is completed, you’ll have the Howler Claws in your inventory.

Epic Games have released the Halloween Fortnite update, Fortnitemares 2022. As expected, data miners have leaked all of the upcoming Halloween-themed skins and cosmetics.

It’s the most exciting time of the year for Fortnite players. Epic Games released the Fortnitemares 2022 update today and in a couple of months, the Christmas Winterfest event will be released.

Both events provide players with a chance to earn themselves free cosmetics by completing quests or opening presents in the case of the Christmas Winterfest event.

Players also look forward to the new holiday-themed Fortnite skins and other cosmetics that are released during this period. We’ve already seen the return of previously released Halloween skins along with two new skins; Sinister Glare and Undying Sorrow.

During downtime for today’s Halloween update, data miners have leaked the upcoming Halloween Fortnitemares 2022 skins. Lets a take a look at what we have in store this year.

Epic Games are providing players with the chance to earn a free Fortnitemares Halloween 2022 skin called “Chrome Punk”. Here’s how you’ll be able to unlock it.

Epic has always provided a number of free cosmetics for players to unlock throughout the year. Whether that’s by placing within the top 100 in a tournament, completing a community challenge, or finishing reboot a friend quests.

Most holiday events provide players with the chance to earn further cosmetics although most of the time there aren’t any free Fortnite skins available to unlock.

However, Winterfest, the Christmas event Epic Games releases each year for Fortnite, provides players with the most free cosmetic rewards. Players can earn cosmetics by completing quests and opening presents in the Winterfest lodge.

For the past two years, players have been able to unlock two free Fortnite skins during Winterfest, but there’s been no other holiday event that provides players with the same.

However, it looks like Epic has provided better rewards this year for the Halloween-themed Fortnitemares 2022 event.

Players can earn three cosmetics through the main Fortnitemares 2022 quests. The cosmetic rewards are the Everything’s End Glider, Chrome Cage Back Bling, and the Unmaker Pickaxe.

Although not mentioned in the blog post announcing the Halloween event, data miners have leaked that players will be able to get their hands on a free Halloween skin, Chrome Punk.

Chrome Punk was added as a new NPC for the Fortnitemares 2022 event which ends on November 1st. Players can also unlock the skin by completing some straightforward yet time-consuming quests.

There are a total of three Chrome Punk quests players can complete, each of which will provide a cosmetic reward.

The Fortnitemares 2022 Halloween Event update, 22.20 (3.71), releases today. Here are the early patch notes for the update including the scheduled maintenance server downtime.

Each year, Epic Games release a new Halloween-themed Fortnite Battle Royale update called “Fortnitemares. This year is no different with Epic confirming the popular holiday event would be returning on October 1st.

Fortnite Halloween events include changes to the loot pool with Halloween-themed items making a limited-time appearance. Some of the items include Witch Brooms to travel around the map quicker, candy, and the pumpkin launcher.

However, if leaks from the previous major Fortnite patch update are correct, the pumpkin launcher might be replaced by another Halloween-themed item, but more on that later.

Epic Games have officially announced the scheduled server maintenance downtime for the 22.20 (3.71) Fortnite update. here’s everything you need to know from when the servers will go down to what to expect from the Halloween Fortnitemares 2022 event.

Fortnite Scheduled Server Maintenance Downtime – October 18th, 2022

A day prior to a new Fortnite update going live, Epic Games will announce when the Fortnite servers will go down for scheduled server maintenance in order to prepare them for the new patch.

The release of the 22.20 (3.71) update is no different. The Fortnite Status Twitter account announced that the servers will go down at TIME, with matchmaking being disabled thirty minutes prior.

When Will The Fortnite Servers Be Back Up? Current Status

Epic never mentions when the Fortnite servers will come back online. However, if we’re going off the past few updates, we can expect the servers to be down for roughly two hours which means they should be back up at approximately 6 AM ET.

Early 22.20 (3.71) Fortnite Halloween Fortnitemares 2022 Patch Notes

Thanks to data miners we know some of the new content that’ll be introduced in a new patch before it releases. According to popular data miner Hypex, there will be changes to the loot pool.

The release of Fortnitemares 2022 sees the Grapple Glove enter the vault, likely due to the fact that the Witch Brooms will be making a return and allowing players to rotate around the map faster.

Back in August, Hypex leaked that Epic Games are working on a pumpkin version of the Shockwave launcher. If that’s the case, we should see it added to the game in the 3.71 Fortnite update.

With Hypex also confirming a Halloween-themed boss and a mythic item will be added to the game for Fortnitemares 2022, it’s likely the new boss that’s added will drop the pumpkin shockwave launcher, which will be a mythic item.

We should also expect at least one Halloween-themed POI to be added to the map along with four Fortnitemares NPCs, the possibility of Phantom ammo being added, Chrome expanding around the map, a Zero Build Horde Rush LTM, Diagnol movement being added to the PC and more.

We’ve already seen the return of some previously released Halloween-themed skins along with several new skins being released since the start of the month. Expect a handful of skins and other cosmetics to be leaked during downtime.

Players are eagerly anticipating the release of Fortnitemares 2022, Epic’s Halloween event for Fortnite Battle Royale. Here’s the start date, what to expect from the event, and more.

Epic Games have released a Fortnite Halloween event for the Battle Royale game mode for the past few years. Each year, new content is added to the game alongside the return of previously released items and features.

Last year, the Fortnitemares event was titled “Wrath of the Cube Queen”. A new POI was added to the map at the launch of the event called “The Convergence”, a location with cubes mobilizing into a small town.

Last year’s event also included a new monster making its way into the game: caretakers. These were the Cube Queen’s strongest monsters and were more difficult to defeat in comparison to the usual Halloween monsters found roaming around the Fortnite map.

A number of items made a return including Witch Brooms that allowed players to travel around the map faster, the Pumpkin Rocket Launcher, candy, and more.

As you’d come to expect from a major Fortnite event, Halloween-themed quests were released. There were two different sets of challenges both of which rewarded players with free cosmetic items.

Some of the free Fortnite cosmetics included the Thinking Juice Back Bling, the All-Weather Extractor Pickaxe with several different styles, the Cube Cruiser Glider, and the No Ghost Back Bling.

The Fortnitemares 2022 event is drawing closer and players are wondering when exactly the event will start and what they can expect from the event. Here’s everything we know about the Fortnitemares 2022 event.

When Does Fortnitemares 2022 Start?

Epic Games release major patch updates every two weeks on a Tuesday, so we always had a rough idea as to when the Fortnite Halloween 2022 event will release.

On October 1st, Epic Games released a post on Twitter that confirmed the release date for Fortnitemares. Fortnitemares 2022 will begin on October 18th, 2022.

It’s likely that the event will go live a few hours after downtime ends with similar events beginning at either 2 or 3 PM BST. However, we’ll update you on the exact time once downtime concludes.

What to Expect from Fortnite Halloween 2022 Event

For the most part, we can expect much of the same content we had last year. We should see the return of Halloween-themed items from previous years including the return of the Witch Brooms and Candy.

There will also be Fortnitemares 2022 quests and free cosmetic rewards that’ll be available, most of which will be leaked by data miners during scheduled downtime tomorrow.

According to popular data miner Hypex, we should see a new Pumpkin-themed item release, the Pumpkin Shockwave launcher.

If leaks are to be believed, there should also be a Zero Build Horde Rush limited-time game mode released along with POI changes, the introduction of a Halloween-themed boss, a mythic item, and more.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has confirmed a Black Adam DC Fortnite skin will be coming to the item shop in the near future.

The Fortnite metaverse continues to grow. From the first collaboration back in Fortnite chapter 1 season 4 to the several major collaborations we get each season.

Prior to chapter 2 season 4, we never had any Battle Pass cosmetics that were part of a collaboration. However, season 4 in chapter 2 changed that with a Marvel-themed season.

Not only did we get a Battle Pass full of Marvel cosmetics, we also have bosses, mythic items, and POIs that were Marvel-themed.

Each season, Epic Games add in a few collaboration cosmetics in the Battle Pass. Last season, we had Darth Vader and Indiana Jones cosmetics in the Battle Pass.

This season, we have Spider-Gwen in the Battle Pass and we’ve seen the release of X-Men’s Laura Kinney X-23 skin hit the item shop.

It looks like we know what and when our next collaboration will be; Black Adam. Here’s all the information we know regarding the latest DC x Fortnite Collaboration.

Fortnite x Black Adam Skin

Both Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Epic Games have confirmed the release of a Black Adam Fortnite skin on social media.

Dwayne Johnson tweeted announced that the world premiere for Black Adam will be live-streamed tomorrow on Twitch at 6:30PM ET that will include the reveal of the Black Adam Fortnite Skin.

Epic Games revealed an image with the cosmetics on the official Fortnite Twitter account including a look at the Black Adam Fortnite skin, a back bling, a pickaxe, and an emote.

The Black Adam x Fortnite DC cosmetics set will be available to purchase from the item shop on the 20th of October 2022.

Epic Games released a new Fortnite update today, a content release that includes the release of the previously leaked Goo Gun.

Last week, we had our first major Fortnite update of the season. The patch includes a new item, the Cobra DMR along with Holo-Chests, the return of the grapple glove, and more.

In that update, data miners leaked a number of items and cosmetics that would be coming to the game before the next Fortnite update releases.

One of the items that were leaked was the explosive goo gun and throwable launch pads. The stats and how these items were also leaked.

Epic has released a new content update today (October 11, 2022) which includes the release of both the explosive goo gun and the throwable launch pads.

Explosive Goo Gun in Fortnite

The explosive goo gun was teased in the gameplay trailer when the new season launched. The explosive goo gun is now available. It allows players to cover enemies in a volatile substance that will stick to whatever it comes into contact with.

The substance will eventually detonate and cause damage. There are no ammo pick-ups for the goo gun, and each goo gun you find will come with limited goo.

You can find Goo Guns from floor loot, chests, and supply drops. With the launch of the new item, Epic has increased the drop rate until next week’s patch release.

Fortnite Throwable Launch Pads

Jump Pads have been around in Fortnite for some time, but we now have throwable launch pads. Instead of needing to place launchpads on the floor build, players can throw them at the ground to instantly create support structures.

The throwable launch pad takes up an item slot in your inventory and can be found in floor loot, chests, and supply drops.

The Shield Bubbles have been unvaulted in today’s new Fortnite update. For those of you that haven’t used the item before, it allows you and your squad to shield from incoming fire. They can be found in floor loot, chests, and supply drop.s

Players are reporting that the Fortnite servers are down today (October 3rd / 4th 2022. Here is the latest status.

It’s been just over two weeks since the launch of Fortnite chapter 3 season 4. The new season introduced several map changes, new items, a brand new Battle Pass, and much more.

The season is scheduled to end at the start of December, making it one of the shortest seasons of chapter so far and if leaks are to be believed, this could be the final season in chapter 3.

Before the season ends, we’ll have at least five major patch updates and the first has been announced by Epic Games.

The v22.10 update will go live tomorrow. As usual, the servers will go down for scheduled maintenance to prepare the servers, but it looks like the servers are already down.

Epic Games have announced a new Fortnite update released today, 22.10 (3.70). Here are the early patch notes for the October 4th, 2022 patch.

It’s been over two weeks since the launch of Fortnite chapter 3 season 4 with early rumors suggesting that this could be the final season of the chapter.

The v22.00 update introduced a number of major map changes, new features, and a new Battle Pass including Spider-Gwen and another version of Paradigm.

The release of a new major Fortnite update includes a number of new game files that are leaked by data miners during downtime.

The release of the new season update allowed data miners to leak a number of new weapons and items that’ll be introduced into the game later.

With Epic Games announcing the new Fortnite update that’ll be released today, 22.10, we know some of the new content we can expect to see.

Fortnite Scheduled Server Downtime

As usual, Epic Games released a tweet on the official Fortnite Status account announcing when downtime will begin for the 22.10 update.

Initially, Epic stated that scheduled server downtime will begin at the usual time, 4 AM / 8 AM UTC. However, a tweet released an hour later stated that downtime will start earlier, but no time was announced.

Its likely downtime will begin at 3:30 AM ET with matchmaking being disabled at 3 AM ET. Here are the official tweets from Epic:

22.10 Early Fortnite Update Patch Notes (3.70) – October 4th, 2022

According to data miner Hypex, we can expect a few changes in the 22.10 Fortnite update tomorrow.

Confirmed changes include the Boogie Bombs being vaulted once again along with chrome spreading to other areas of the map with some changes to the existing POIs.

Super styles will be added in this update along with Bytes’ challenges being introduced. Although not confirmed, there’s a chance we could be getting the Goo Gun or the Cobra DMR, both of which have been teased in trailers.

As you’d expect from a major update, there will be leaks and we could be getting more information on the next Star Wars collaboration along with more details about the upcoming Fortnite Halloween event, Fortnitemares 2022.

Epic Games have always provided the Fortnite player base with different ways to earn free cosmetics. Most recently, players were able to unlock three Birthday-themed cosmetics by completing challenges.

This morning, Epic announced the return of the Fortnite Discord quests, offering new Chapter 3 Season 4 cosmetic rewards by completing the Discord quests.

Players have until October 2, 2022, to complete the Discord Fortnite quests and earn the three available cosmetic rewards.

What Are Fortnite Discord Quests and How to Complete Them

The Fortnite Discord quests are limited-time challenges that players receive through any of the official Fortnite Discord servers.

These challenges can then be completed in-game. The first set of quests was introduced two seasons ago and as expected, it helped drive a large number of new members in the Fortnite Discord channels.

In order to participate and view the Fortnite Discord quests, you’ll need to do the following:

• Select and join one of the official Fortnite Discord servers we’ve listed further down in this article.
• Find and select the Paradise Discord quest channel.
• Read the announcements on the channel
• Click the “Start” button
• Link your Epic Games account with Discord if you haven’t done so already. You’ll receive a bot message for this.
• Click the link and follow the instructions.
• Complete the quest and unlock the next quest.
