Epic Games celebrate the 5th Birthday of Fortnite Battle Royale with a small event that includes quests and rewards.

Each year, Epic Games will host a small event to celebrate another birthday for the Fortnite Battle Royale game mode. They usually only last a few days with a small number of challenges and rewards going live.

Two days ago, Epic officially announced the 2022 Fortnite birthday event, the popular battle royale game modes 5th birthday. As expected, we have three quests to complete that’ll provide players with three cosmetics.

The event is now live as of 2 PM BST on September 23rd, 2022, and is scheduled to end on September 27th. Here’s everything you need to know about the event including the challenges and free rewards that are available this year.

All Fortnite Birthday 2022 Challenges

We weren’t expecting a massive list of challenges for players to complete for the 2022 Fortnite birthday event, and that’s turned out to be the case.

There are only three challenges for the 5th Fortnite birthday which you can take a look at below:

• Consume birthday cake in different matches (5)
• Throw Birthday presents (5)
• Use Balloons in a single match  (5)

5th Fortnite Birthday Free Rewards

Players are most excited about the free cosmetics they can get their hands on when there’s a new event. For Fortnite’s 5th birthday, Epic Games have provided players with the opportunity to get their hands on a back bling, pickaxe, and spray.

The name of the three cosmetics are:

• Fuzzfetti Cake Back Bling
• Celebratory Slice Pickaxe
• Sparklecake Emoticon.
