Epic has yet to publish their official patch notes, so we'll update this article if more changes are discovered.
Fortnite's v20.30 update has arrived with a number of changes and additions to Creative mode. Here's everything introduced in the latest patch.
Tilted Towers
Have you ever looked at Tilted Towers and thought about the awesome things you could do if only you had the POI? Well, now is your chance as the v20.30 update introduces the Tilted Towers POI to Creative! Ironically, this has been introduced in the same patch that destroyed Tilted Towers in Battle Royale.
Armoured Battle Bus
The Armored Battle Bus and the Cow Catcher devices will be available with 20.30 for ultimate ramming power.
Island Template Updates
In v20.20 Epic released the Video Player device (previously known as Llamatron) for you to use to broadcast a set of preloaded music videos. A template, “Music Experience Island” has now been introduced to help you build a great experience using the device.
The old Zone Wars Template Island has also been updated to align with the new standard and new devices that have been released since the template was originally created. The update also includes billboards describing the new devices and how the island was built!
Player Reference Device Update
Epic has updated the Player Reference Device with more customisable options and the ability to simplify mechanics without having to use several devices to achieve your desired results!
Hub Changes
A new Hub layout more focused on providing you a place to showcase your artistic skills has also been introduced. To accomplish this, matchmaking portals and featured rifts have been removed. There will be four empty rifts so you can continue testing and playing in private parties, and one Creator Showcase map selected by the hub creator. Starting in July, hubs will be live for two weeks instead of one.
Please Note: Starting today, all hubs that are not submitted in the new layout will be rejected. If you’d still like to be featured, please update your Hubs to the new layout and resubmit to the creative content submission form.
Shotguns Rebalanced
In v20.30 all Shotguns have undergone a damage balance update across Fortnite.
These changes will increase the damage for most shots and headshots. All Shotguns have also been given a “max damage cap”, affecting the maximum damage a single shot can deal. Please note with this cap update, alongside other adjustments, all Shotguns except the Legendary Dragon’s Breath Shotgun will no longer deal over 200 damage in one shot.
Specifically, in Fortnite Creative:
Minimum pellet-hit count increased from 3 to 4 for the Striker Pump Shotgun, Auto Shotgun, and Drum Shotgun.
Striker Pump Shotgun and Auto Shotgun pellet damage and headshot damage increased.
Ranger Shotgun and Drum Shotgun headshot damage greatly increased, but no change to base pellet damage.

Fortnite has released the latest Hotfix for v20.20, introducing a number of changes to Battle Royale.
The Battle for Rocky Reels
The Resistance has won the Battle for Coney Crossroads! With this POI now held by the Resistance, Funding Stations for an Armoured Battle Bus and set of Turrets can now be found here.
The fight against the IO continues in the Battle for Rocky Reels. This is no movie: drop into Rocky Reels and help push the IO back! Starring on the IO side is Huntmaster Saber, again in action overhead.
Unvaulted: Light Machine Gun
The Light Machine Gun (LMG) has been unvaulted across the Island! Take advantage of its fast fire rate and 60-round magazine. The longer you hold down its trigger, the more manageable its recoil becomes.
Find LMGs on the ground and in Chests, Rare Chests, Supply Drops and Loot Sharks.
Boogie Bomb vs Rift-To-Go
The Boogie Bomb/Rift-To-Go trial period has ended and now it’s time for a vote! Funding Stations pitting the two items together can be found at all major POIs, so head to a Funding Station and contribute Bars to your preferred choice. The first choice to reach 100% Funded based on everyone’s global contributions will win and enter the loot pool immediately!
Competitive Notes
Rocky Reels is not under assault in competitive playlists, but Huntmaster Saber has still relocated.
The LMG is not included in competitive playlists but is subject to an evaluation period.
The winner of the Boogie Bomb vs. Rift-To-Go vote will not immediately be unvaulted in competitive playlists — but is subject to an evaluation period.

The v20.20 Fortnite Creative update adds the new Video Player, Water, and VFX Devices! Along with new devices, Epic has also added some additional Prefabs, Galleries and a brand new island to create on.
Prop Mover
After being unintentionally added in the v20.10 update, the Prop Mover device has now been officially implemented into the game. If you’re using the Prop Mover, understand that you might be asked to remove it from your map. For example: you’re featured in the Hub but the Prop Mover is causing performance issues. Additionally, some features that the Prop Mover currently has may change over time.
New: Video Player
All creators will now have access to the Video Player device, previously known as the Llamatron, which they can use to broadcast a set of preloaded music videos from xDogged. Creators can use just one or string them together for a totally unique music-led island experience.
New: Water Device
Creators can modulate the water level within a volume and allow for players to swim, use marine vehicle travel, as well as placement of fishing areas. This device could also be used to make oceans, beaches, swimming pools, sewers, lakes, and even floods.
New: VFX Creator
The new VFX Creator device provides Creators with a set of tools to make different FX. Creators can select a sprite and apply a variety of parameters to it to create divergent effects.

Mounted Artillery Cannon
Mounted Anti-Vehicle Turret
Other Feature Updates
New: Career Tracker
The new Career Tracker provides creators the ability to track more stats for players by adding these options to the Save Point Device. To enable the new Career Tracker, Creators will need to update to the Save Point Device and the scoreboard HUD. A quick way of updating the scoreboard HUD is by cloning the scoreboard and changing it to Career. Once updated, players will be able to view career scores in the new Career Tab.
Update: Switch Device

Checkbox

v20.20 sees the conclusion of the Battle for Condo Canyon, while a new conflict commences at the Battle for Coney Crossroads. To coincide with this clash, take up a new weapon and select an item to unvault!
The Battle for Coney Crossroads
Condo Canyon can again be called home: the Battle for Condo Canyon is a victory for the Resistance! With the Resistance settling in at this POI, Funding Stations for an Armoured Battle Bus and set of Turrets can now be found here.
The fight against the IO goes on, this time at Coney Crossroads. A literal and figurative turning point, jump into the Battle for Coney Crossroads and help push the IO back! (Refusing to give up, Huntmaster Saber is again prowling overhead.)
New Weapon: Ranger Shotgun
The Ranger Shotgun has appeared on the Island, built for much longer range than most Shotguns. This burst Shotgun has one shot per reload. Because each shot deals serious damage, you won’t need to panic while reloading.
Find Ranger Shotguns on the ground, from certain vendors, and in Chests, Supply Drops, and Loot Sharks.
New Item Vote
The Resistance plans to supply the Boogie Bomb or Rift-To-Go — but needs help deciding which one. Both are tailored for escaping tricky situations. An enemy come out of nowhere? Throw a Boogie Bomb to trap them in a dance. In a losing struggle? Use a Rift-To-Go to create an emergency Rift.
Before one of these escape mechanisms is unvaulted, you’ll have the opportunity to try out both in the wild. Find Boogie Bombs and Rift-To-Gos scattered throughout the Island from Friday, April 22, at 8 AM ET to Monday, April 25, 2022, at 8 AM ET. Not too long after this trial period ends, you can vote for your favourite choice by contributing Bars at Funding Stations. The first item that reaches 100% Funded will swiftly enter the loot pool!

Finished Quest 1 before April 26 at 8:59 AM ET? You’ll proceed to Quest 2!

Fortnite has released the latest Hotfix for v20.10, introducing a number of changes to Battle Royale.
The Battle for Condo Canyon
The Resistance has won the Battle for Daily Bugle, resulting in the destruction of an IO Blimp! Funding Stations for an Armoured Battle Bus and set of Turrets can now be found at the POI.
It’s not time to get complacent, though: the fight against the IO continues in the Battle for Condo Canyon. Drop into this POI and help the Resistance starting now!
Resistance Rising
Raiding IO Blimps is a key tactic of the Resistance, and now there’s another item you can loot from them. Zip up to an IO Blimp and find Jetpacks hanging on the walls!
Upgraded since their last appearance, Jetpacks now hover and strafe when you’re aiming-down-sights, allowing you to keep your eyes in the sky while lining up a shot.
Hatching Victory
Spring’s in the air on the Island! Unvaulted for a limited time, fire eggs from Egg Launchers to deal explosive damage. Egg Launchers can be found in Chests and on the ground.
There’s a sweeter kind of egg too. Unvaulted for a limited time, consume Bouncy Eggs to temporarily lower gravity’s effect on you. (They also restore Shield slightly.) Bouncy Eggs can be found on the ground across the Island.
Competitive Notes
Condo Canyon is not under assault in competitive playlists, but Huntmaster Saber has still relocated.
Jetpacks are not included in competitive playlists but are subject to an evaluation period.
Egg Launchers and Bouncy Eggs are not included in competitive playlists.
Fortnite's v20.10 update has arrived with some changes and additions to Save the World.
Scurvy Shoals returns with a new Modifier
The Scurvy Shoals is back, along with the treasure filled Pirate Llamas! This high sea venture is going to feel a little different this time around, as it will introduce a new modifier and bring back a returning one.
Bouncy Husk
Things will get quite turbulent with the new Bouncy Husks modifier! With this modifier, Husks, Huskies, and Mist Monsters all have increased health, but they are more susceptible to knockbacks, especially from ranged and melee weapons. Send those Husks back into the Storm that they came from!
Super Treasure
Time to start looting like a real pirate! With the Super Treasure modifier, treasure chest filled with valuable loot will periodically drop after defeating enemies. Keep in mind Commanders; the tougher the enemy you defeat, the more likely a chest will drop from it. Great enemies mean great rewards!
With the addition of the Bouncy Husks modifiers, the Super Husks modifier has been removed from Scurvy Shoals.
R.O.S.I.E. Upgraded
"The long awaited upgraded R.O.S.I.E. has shipped to a Homebase near you. Let's throw it to our expert weaponsmith, Clip, to get a detailed look at what R.O.S.I.E. has to offer now!"
No more overheating: Commanders are now free to fire away with R.O.S.I.E. as our technological advancements have allowed us to bypass the troubles of overheating.
Now that overheating is no longer an issue, the Cold Lead perk will now allow R.O.S.I.E. to hold 20% more ammo.
Better from a distance: The damage fall off to enemies at a distance has been greatly reduced, adding more combative versatility to R.O.S.I.E.
Quicker activations: After initial use, it would take Commanders quite a while to be able to summon R.O.S.I.E. again. That issue will be reduced as the R.O.S.I.E. cooldown has decreased by 33%.
A new shield: One weakness of using R.O.S.I.E. is that it would leave its operators vulnerable to ranged attacks. Well their security is now improved with the new anti-projectile shield that will form around R.O.S.I.E. whenever it is deployed. – Commanders will have the option to sacrifice the shield which will trigger a large knockback. This is especially useful when hordes of melee Husks get a bit too close to the turret.
Dungeons return
It’s madness season again! Fight monsters, dodge traps, gear up and descend into the depths to confront the raging evil below. They say there are Weapons and Heroes to recruit along the way. Magical Keys, a deep and dark labyrinth, golden coins… sounds like it’s time to do some exploring. Complete Dungeons to unlock Heroes, a Loading Screen, and more!
