Fortnite data-miner Hypex has discovered stats in the files for an upcoming shotgun.
According to the Hypex, the weapon appears to be similar to the Primal Shotgun from Chapter 2 Season 6. The leaked stats for the new shotgun are as follows:
Magazine size: 8 shells
Reload time: 6 seconds
Fire rate: 0.85 (2 shells per shot)
Body damage: 54 (common – per shell) & 66 (legendary – per shell)
Headshot damage: 75 (common – per shell) & 95 (legendary – per shell)
Interestingly, the fire rate combined with the weapon's ability to shoot two shells per shot makes it faster than both the Striker and Pump Shotguns. Of course, this could be changed before anything is introduced live in-game. The new Shotgun is expected to arrive at some point in Chapter 3 Season 3.
We'll keep you updated.

Epic Games has unexpectedly added the name 'RoboCop' to the Fortnite server, indicating that the character will be available in the Item Shop very soon, possibly even tonight.
The newly-added text will be the name of a new section listed in the Item Shop. Although this doesn't reveal much, it does suggest that additional RoboCop cosmetics will be sold alongside the new Outfit.
It's currently unknown which version of the character will be introduced to Fortnite, but we'll keep you updated.
Fortnite data-miner Hypex has shared information that suggests the Shadow Bomb item could be returning to Battle Royale soon.
According to the leaker, the item's in-game description was updated last week to be "Toss to escape in a cloud of smoke that grants a speed and jump boost." It's currently unknown if any changes have been made to how the item works, although it won't be long before players find out – Shadow Bombs are expected to be unvaulted fairly soon.
It's possible we could see the item return in next week's v20.40 patch. We'll keep you updated.
A new Peely Outfit might be coming to Fortnite soon, as suggested by new Peely-themed cosmetics that were added to the files in last week's update.
The new Bedside Nanner Back Bling and Peelyjamas Wrap were added to the files in v20.30 and are both part of the existing Banana Bunch Set, which contains the original Peely Outfit and similar Halloween version. The newly-added cosmetics appear to be themed around a 'pyjama Peely' Outfit, which is strongly implied by the Back Bling – something that Epic rarely sells without a matching skin.
It's possible that the upcoming Pyjama Peely Outfit could be encrypted, however, this is unlikely as Epic usually only encrypts cosmetics linked to collaborations or the monthly Crew Pack. We'll keep you updated.
The third Season of Chapter 3 is set to be released in less than four weeks. Here's everything we know so far, based on various leaks and rumours.
Season 3 Launch Date
Chapter 3 Season 3 is currently set to launch on June 4th, 2022 following a live event which is expected to continue the story of war. Although little is known about the event, new Quest voice lines have described a "Doomsday device" and "big, big trouble".
Star Wars' Darth Vader is one of the few things confirmed for Season 3. Inside sources recently revealed that the Sith Lord will be coming to Fortnite in the form of a wearable Outfit and interactive NPC. The character is also expected to be featured on Page 100 of the next Battle Pass, breaking Marvel's three-season streak.
The same sources who confirmed the arrival of Darth Vader have also revealed that Indiana Jones will be making his way to the Fortnite Island in Season 3. Details of how the Outfit will be obtainable are unclear, but it's likely that the new Battle Pass will feature both characters. Jones will be the thirteenth Lucasfilm character to arrive in Fortnite, provided that Obi-Wan Kenobi and Vader are also introduced as expected.
It's possible that the upcoming clips system, which was discovered in the files last December, could be introduced as a new feature for Season 3. No leaks have directly suggested this, however, it's thought that such a big feature would only be introduced through a major seasonal update.
Zero Build Stays
Fortnite's recently-introduced Zero Build mode is expected to remain available as permanent playlists for Solo, Duos, Trios and Squads in Season 3. The mode has been responsible for the return of many streamers who previously quit the game due to the "sweaty" building mechanic of classic Battle Royale.
More details of Season 3 will be revealed in the lead-up to the live story event. We'll keep you updated.
Fortnite data-miner iFireMonkey has discovered new URLs from Epic Games that suggest a collaboration with Fall Guys is coming soon.
The newly-discovered URLs, although not live yet, are set to redirect users to a page on the Fortnite website where it's thought details of a new Trials event will be listed.
The Fall Guys Trials event is expected to work in a similar way to the recent Lantern and Zero Build Trials, with players rewarded for completing simple in-game challenges. A number of the challenges are also set to take place in Fall Guys, similarly to the Llama-Rama event which requires users to play Rocket League in order to unlock Fortnite rewards.
The next Season of Fall Guys is also expected to launch soon and is rumoured to make the game free for the first time. This could be when we see the Fortnite Trials take place, as it makes sense that Epic would want to promote Fall Guys' move to being free-to-play once it happens.
Epic Games has sent out a new survey to some players, leaking the concept designs of 56 new Outfits.
Nintendo Switch Exclusive
What appears to be an exclusive Nintendo Switch Outfit has also been spotted among the leaked designs. Players noticed that the new Outfit uses the same iconic colours of the Switch's Joy-Con controllers, suggesting that a new Fortnite-themed console could be coming soon. The design was originally seen in a survey from December last year, but this time a new style has also been added.
New Halloween-themed Outfits have also been spotted in the survey. A skeleton wearing clothes and a seriously creepy remix of the Cuddle Team Leader Outfit are just two of the collection.
Chapter 3 Season 3, 4 & 5 Battle Passes
As was the case with December's survey leak, it's extremely likely that that a number of upcoming Battle Pass characters have also been revealed today, including some for as late as Chapter 3 Season 5.
A summer version of the Guff Outfit is also featured in the survey. We could see it released during Season 3, which is expected to last until late August.
We'll keep you updated if more Outfits are leaked.
