Fortnite No Build Mode LTM Being Worked On According to Leaks, Possible Release Date

According to leaks, a no build Fortnite mode is in the works.

Epic Games have capped off a good year for Fortnite with the launch of Fortnite chapter 3 season 1 at the start of the month. There were rumors season 8 would be the last of chapter 2 and it turned out to be true.

Players seem to be enjoying the chapter 3 map far more than the previous map. We’ve seen the return of some popular chapter 1 locations including Greasy Grove and Shifty Shafts along with Rocky Reels (Risky Reels) yet again featuring in a new chapter.

For those that played in chapter 1, you’ll remember the chaos that took place in Tilted Towers. The action packed named location will be making a return this season, and by the looks of it, it seems like it will return during week 6 unless anything changes last minute.

Along with the return of Tilted Towers to look forward to, we could see a Fortnite no build mode coming as an LTM at some point according to leaks from several data-miners including Hypex.

No Build Limited-Time Mode in Fortnite

We’ve never had a no build mode in Fortnite since it was released at the end of 2017. However, we have had an LTM that does severely limited the amount of material a player can hold at once.

Back in 2018, the Christmas event was called 14 days of Fortnite instead of Winterfest. There would be a new LTM rotating into the playlist to replace the previous LTM. One of the game modes was called Ground Game.

Fortnite Ground Game LTM
Fortnite Ground Game LTM

In Ground Game, players were restricted to 160 light ammo, 100 medium ammo, 15 heavy ammo, 20 shotgun shells, and 3 rocket launcher ammo. Material was limited to just 30 wood, 20 stone, and 20 metal. It was a well received LTM that was released on December 28th, 2018 but hasn’t been available to play for some time.

We’re getting one better for those that aren’t good a building, a no build mode in Fortnite. According to popular and accurate data-miner Hypex, Epic Games are working on a Fortnite no build mode. There’s no other information or a release date, but it’ll definitely be a hit whenever it makes its debut.

Fortnite No Build Mode
Fortnite No Build Mode

Chapter 3 season 1 is primed for a no build Fortnite LTM with the release of the MK-Seven rifle because as you’ll know, once you aim down sights you’ll be in first person. Along with the sliding mechanic and the Spider-Man mythic item, it would be the best season to launch this type of LTM and it wouldn’t be far-fetched to suggest it’ll release sooner than you think.

Hopefully in the next update, the files for the no build mode in Fortnite will have been updated which likely means a release this season.

When is Fortnite New Years 2022 Event Time

Here’s the time when the Fortnite new years 2022 event will be live.

It’s almost been a month since the launch of Fortnite chapter 3 season 1 and the Winterfest event that was launched a couple of weeks ago ends in the new year on January 6th. Players have until then to get the free Blizzabelle skin if you’re on PC, and players on other platforms can get free cosmetics from the shop and challenges.

Once you complete seven of the Winterfest challenges, you’ll get a glider, and a back bling once you’ve completed ten. Last year, there were some Fortnite New Years cosmetics from the challenges and two years ago, there were new years-themed cosmetics from the presents.

That isn’t the case this year and players will instead need to buy the New Years 2022 Fortnite cosmetics from the shop. There’s also a mini-event for the new year and here’s everything you need to know about the event.

Fortnite New Years Event 2022 Time

The Fortnite new years event for 2022 has already started. It will happy every hour leading up to 2022. When it’s a new hour, you’ll see a disco ball emerge from the sky similar to what we’ve seen in previous years.

Fortnite New Years 2022 Event

Once the ball comes down, fireworks will go off and you’ll be forced to dance along with everyone in the lobby until the mini-event ends. It can get a little frustrating being forced to dance as you’re in a fight. However, there is a countdown that will appear in the sky before the event is set to begin.

It should hopefully give you enough of a warning to prepare yourself for a short period of time where you won’t be able to fight. We recommend boxing yourself and waiting until the event concludes unless you want to watch the fireworks.

The event is the same every hour, so if you’ve experienced it once, it’s probably best to box yourself.

Fortnite Servers Are Down Again Today – Stuck on Connecting Screen December 30th 2021

It looks like the Fortnite servers are down again today on December 30th, 2021 with players reporting a stuck on connecting screen.

Yesterday, the Fortnite servers were down for a few hours. Players were having the usual issues when trying to login including not having permission to play, a blank white screen, and being put into a queue.

There’s been no information regarding why the Fortnite servers are down so often. It seems with the launch of chapter 3, there are clearly issues that might stem from Epic using the new Unreal Engine 5.

When the season launched, there were numerous issues. When the Spider-Man mythic web shooters item was added, it caused the servers to crash but was quickly corrected. Since the downtime yesterday, Epic Games stated they’ll have more details next week on what they’re doing to help players make up for lost time.

In the past, Epic Games gave everyone a free back bling, but the circumstances are different. When the free back bling was provided back in chapter 1, the Fortnite servers were down for more than fourteen hours.

Is Fortnite Down December 30th 2021

The Fortnite servers ARE down today for some players. On PC, The Epic Games launcher seems to be down and players can’t click on Fortnite to launch it. There’s a chance the three free Tomb Raider games could be causing more traffic than usual on the Epic Games launcher and the servers can’t handle it.

While you’re waiting, see how high you can score on our chapter 3 quiz:

Fortnite Not Connecting, Stuck on Connecting Screen

Players are reporting not connecting as they’re stuck on the Fortnite connecting screen. It doesn’t seem to be an issue on PC as we’ve checked multiple times, but after checking on PS5 and getting the error, it appears as though it only affects console players.

There’s nothing you can do to fix these errors, you’ll need to wait for Epic to fix the ongoing server issues.

Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 Week 4 Challenges

Here are all of the challenges you need to complete for Week 4 of Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1.

Every week in Fortnite, there are seven new challenges released for players to complete. The challenges for this season can be found under the ‘Quests’ tab where you will see ‘Season Challenges’. These challenges have no time limit as such, but they will only be available during this season and completing challenges is an easy and simple way to earn XP to earn more Battle Stars. Battle Stars can then used to unlock cosmetics from this seasons Battle Pass.

Fortnite Week 4 Challenges

The challenges go live every Thursday at 2pm GMT (9am ET) and you can see the challenges you need to complete for Week 4 of Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 below.

You can click on the bold and underlined challenges for a detailed guide on how to complete them.

The first challenge is self-explanatory as all you need to do is deal 75 headshot damage to opponents with a Pistol. The pistol you use can be of any rarity and make sure you aim for the head! It shouldn’t take you very long to complete this challenge and you will be notified on the left side of the screen that it has been done and you will earn 25,000 XP. Another challenge requires you to deal 400 damage to enemies with Rare or better Shotguns, which again is pretty easy to complete.

The second challenge is to harvest wood at either The Joneses, Shifty Shafts, or Logjam Lumberyard and again this should be an extremely easy challenge to complete as all you need to do is land at any of these locations and harvest a total of 150 wood. It can easily be completed in one match and should take you not time at all.

The third challenge requires you to destroy 2 objects by detonating gas cans and this challenge will be extremely easy to complete if you know where to go. We have made a guide on where you can complete this challenge quickly, which you can see by clicking here.

Detonate Gas Cans To Destroy Objects

For the next challenge, you will need to dance at Chonker’s Speedway, Rocky Reels, and Greasy Grove. Remember in order to complete this challenge, you must dance at all three locations. If you want to complete this challenge as quickly as possible, you can land at one of the locations, dance until it shows on the side you can complete part of the challenge, and then simply exit the match and start a new one. This way, you won’t be wasting time travelling to each place, even though they are located closely on the match.

Another Week 4 challenge requires you to experience Re-Fill effects for 15 seconds and we have shown you how and what that is in another article, which you can see by clicking here.

The last challenge requires you to hide in Stealth Grass for 10 seconds and that challenge has also been explained in another article, which you can see by clicking here.

Where to Hide in Stealth Grass for 10 Seconds Fortnite chapter 3 Locations

Here’s the locations of where you can find and hide in stealth grass for 10 seconds in Fortnite chapter 3 season 1.

It’s quite slow leveling up in Fortnite chapter 3 season 1. However, there have been new XP glitches on creative maps that are being discovered on a daily basis. Using these XP glitches can be done whilst AFK and make it easy for players to level up.

However, there’s always a slight chance you can be banned and some players want to level up legitimately. Thankfully, we have a brand new set of weekly quests to complete that’ll help you level up quicker thanks to the XP they provide.

One of the challenges in week 4 of chapter 3 season 1 requires players to hide in stealth grass for 10 seconds. Here are the locations where you can find and hide in stealth grass on the chapter 3 map.

What is Stealth Grass?

Stealth Grass in Fortnite is tall grass found around the map that will hide you from opponents unless someone builds at the location that you’re in.

Stealth Grass Fortnite Locations

There are several locations where you can find and hide in Stealth Grass in Fortnite chapter 3 season 1. Here are the known locations along with a map with the locations marked:

  • Outside The Daily Bugle
  • The Sanctuary

These are the two locations we know for certain and they usually have more than two locations where you can find and hide in Stealth Grass. One of the locations around The Daily Bugle has been marked below:

Stealth Grass Fortnite Locations
Stealth Grass Fortnite Locations

The hill north of Sanctuary has a spot of grass:

The larger hill on the west side of Sactuary also has some stealth grass and there’s another spot at the Daily Bugle on the south side.

Thankfully, it’s not one of those challenges that require you to hide close to an enemy. All you need to do is get to any one of the locations outlined above and just crouch there for 10 seconds in order to successfully complete this camper friendly challenge.

How to Experience Re-Fill Effects for 15 Seconds in Fortnite – What is Re-Fill Effects?

Here’s what re-fill effects are in Fortnite and how and where to experience re-fill effects for 15 seconds in Fortnite chapter 3 season 1.

There’s only a week left of the Winterfest event and the final challenge releases today. The two cosmetic rewards are already available to unlock once you complete ten challenges.

All the challenges provide players with 18,000 XP which is useful if you’re looking to hit level 100 to complete your Battle Pass and beyond to unlock the super skins styles for the Battle Pass skins including Spider-Man.

You’ll be able to get more XP today with the release of the week 4 challenges in Chapter 3 season 1. One of the challenges requires players to experience re-fill effects for 15 seconds. Here’s everything you need to know about the Re-Fill effects in Fortnite including what is is, where to experience re-fill effects and how to complete the challenge.

What is Re-Fill Effects in Fortnite?

There seems to be confusion when it comes to re-fill effects in Fortnite. Some guides are stating this can be done by filling up your car with fuel and others mention the effects shown when using a health item. It seems like the re-fill effects is for health and shield items including the Guzzle Juice.

How to Experience Re-fill Effects for 15 Seconds

As we’re writing this guide prior to the release of the challenge, we’re not 100 percent certain on how to complete this challenge. However, we believe you can experience re-fill effects for 15 seconds in Fortnite by finding and using two health items.

The first is Guzzle Juice and the second is Med Mist. Both these items will re-fill your health and seem like the best way to complete this challenge. If you’re at full health, we recommend to build up and drop down to take some damage to your health.

Once you’ve done that, use the Guzzle Juice or the Med Mist. You don’t need to have the re-fill effects for 15 seconds at once and should track in multiple games. However, if you take enough damage to your health and have the two health items mentioned above in your inventory, it should be easy to complete this challenge.

One of the best locations to find Guzzle Juice and Med Mist is Rocky Reels. Drop down and search for coolers (white ammo boxes). There’s plenty of them at the location and you’ll usually find health items there.
